Assault Rifle/Traps would be an awesome partner to your necro/dark MM.
Send in ur pets to attack and ur friend follows em in to drop poison trap,then u drop tar patch and ur friend applies full auto and flamethrower while the acid mortar tanks for u.
Better still have the seekers take the alpha for ur pets 
An interesting choice for sure. I play a blaster AR/Dev and she's great fun to play. Never tried traps, could be a nice "discovery" indeed 
If you play your Mastermind, your friend could be any character as Masterminds are more solo characters.
If you play your Stalker, I would recommend your friend be a Dominator for those nice Holds which give you Critical Hits.
If you play your Dominator, well I'd just recommend the same as the above. Stalker / Dominator duo. Holds + Stalker = Stalker does Critical Hits.

Stalker works well with dominator too.
I'd agree with Wes01 here - a stalker and a dominator are a formidable combination.
Stalker and an AoE Brute.
Brute handles crowd control and aggro, Stalker pops up to handle those annoying boss level enemies that AoE's don't cut it for.
The pellet with the poisons in the Vessel with the Pessel, the Chalice from the Palace has the brew that is true...
First and foremost it has to be dynamic Personally I think a SS/ Brute with a Thugs/Poison MM< would give you an unbeatable combination, plus there would be some great RP angles.

Hello everyone,
My friend is considering playing and wants to team up with me. I'm wondering what AT would be best? In CoH the choice wasn't too difficult since you can have a dedicated healer there. In CoV it's a bit different from what I've gathered.
Mostly looking for a support role - but all AT's seem to be on the offense side.
My highest is a L10 MM with necromancy/dark
I have a L4 Stalker.
And, a L3 plant/thorns dominator.
I have to admit that I made my necromancer with the idea of going solo, but a rad/kin with buffs might be useful. Other than that, I've really no idea. Suggestions?
