Cant seem to solo...
The Hollows is mostly for teams, try asking a group fighting the foes you need if you can join them for a bit.
You should also be able to return the contact that sent you to Wincott and get a new mission.
I would suggest dropping the mission to kill 10 circle of thorns in Perez Park, using the drop mission option.
If you cant drop it then try around the northern edge if the woods, they can mezz you so get some breakfree inspirations first.
Hope that helps
Both the Hollows and Perez Park are Hazard Zones. Villains do not get Hazard Zones unfortunately. They are basically a more dangerous version of a standard zone and have a level restriction to enter. You can completely ignore the Hollows and Perez if you want and head to Kings Row which is a standard zone with standard mob sizes.
Ok... so it wont always be like this on the Hero side? Also, I am starting to feel insecure about my build... I was just browsing the forum about Scrappers, and I dont see anything about a Claw/Inv build... Should I switch to Regen or something? i thought Inv would be nice for the damage reduction, but maybe I am wrong. Nearly all the damage I took on Villain was Lethal/smashing, but hero seems to be more casters
Avoid the Hollows solo
The Hollows is a hazard zone (as is Perez Park). That means huge spawns intended for teams. What you can do is go back to the person who sent you to the Hollows and they should have another mish or contact for you.
Atlas or Galaxy, then kings and you can do normal Radio Missions (like Paper ones). Once you've enough of them you can do a Safeguard and the detective should offer you Story contacts outside of the Hazard Zones. Probably Kings / Atlas / Galaxy and then Skyway/Steel, Faultline (also a Hazard zone but should be lots of teams), Talos/IP and so on.
You can use the once-per-week "Drop the mission" (or wait until you're a few levels up to blitz) the annoying Hollows & Perez hunt missions.
Hazard Zones are intended for teams really. Some of them, Faultline and Stirga Isle later, are a lot of fun though.
...and the early levels can be tough on a claws/invul scrapper. When you get Focus as a power you start noticing a difference! Stick with it, I found it an interesting combination, and definitely not a widely used one in the scrapper world. If you want to talk about it further shout out in game (if you see @Cambo on Union, that's my son, don't ask him, he's more a "blaster" style player!).

I have a claws/invln scrapper in the mid 20s, i think its actually a really safe combo and a lot less run of the mill like MA/regen which i got bored of in the mid 30s.
Instead of the passive resists i picked up aid self, that and dull pain should keep you upright
Power preferences aside, Inv is a steady set that will breeze you pretty much unharmed until high lvls when you have to be very careful with psionic dmg, Claws is the best set for DPS and very light n end, hence it should blend well with inv, although for soloing, Claws might slow things a bit, specially at low lvls.
As has been suggested, the "Kill 10 CoT" in Perez Park is the perma-skipped mish or revisited once is overlvld.
Hollows IS fun on a full team and now it's easier to travel due to the aptor Pack available by doing the Atlas Safeguard in Kings Row, but if you want to solo, better skip both Hollows and Perez Park as has been suggested.-
At lower levels, Claws is probably the easiest to level as the lower end cost will mean you don't need to stop for end as much and the lower recharge will allow you to have a more fluid attack chain.
I have done the hollows content with a claws scrapper and used confront to reduce the numbers i had to fight at a time. You get no real high burst damage which means your fighting some mobs for longer and so it does help to reduce the how many at a time factor. Think yaself lucky cos Invulns have a heal and mine was SR, no heal and barely any defence to write home about.
Most of the time of your actual playing of a toon is at later levels.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

I never noticed any particular difference in endurance costs when playing my claws or other toon.. The higher damage attacks still cost enough.

Ok, here is the deal. I have just started 5 days ago, and I started on Villain. I was a Brute Electricity/Inv, and I have had zero problems soloing to 14. I almost always fight 2-4 mobs at once, rarely more than that.
Now, I decided I wanted to try out Scrapper. I am Claws/Inv, and things started well in Atlas park. Now, I was sent to the Hollow's, and I was screwed. I was completely swarmed, and I could RARELY find less than 6 mobs at a time, sometimes up to 12. On top of this, many were Boss/Lieutenants. I did my two quests there, and decided to go the other direction to Perez park. I have a quest to kill 10 Circle of Thorns people, and I can barely find any. Most, if not all mobs are Boss/Lieutenants, and they were destroying me. I cant take the amount of mobs being thrown at me... Is this just a difference between Villains and the Heros? Villains get 3 mobs, where heroes get 10 at a time? thanks for any help.

You should go to kings row instead and either unlock other contacts via police band or just do missions for contacts that dont send you to hollows/perez park.
Hollows has always been a sort of "Baptism by fire to newbies".. Experienced players who just want to level will propably skip it. You dont have to do missions to that police dude standing near hollows gate when you get the introduction mission, you can go back to your original contact who will give you more missions.

Most Claws attacks cost 20-25% less end than comparable attacks from other scrapper primaries.
Sorry for not reading most of the posts but here's my advice to Rasma:
Hollows is a tricky place. Instead of diving mobs head first, try to out level them (for example all white mobs are death traps but mostly blue ones ain't be problem for a scrapper). As you are a new player try to run hollows arc with teams first. Learn which missions are hard and which one can be solo.
And @Hammerfall; actually i was saying the same thing as you. But after changing my Claws/Regen to MA/Regen i understand the end cost difference. But they both low levels (1-8). Instead i can say claws is weak in damage versus the MA and less suitable for soloing for my taste. Depending on my experiences with Scrapper sets i can say Broad Sword, Katana and Martial Arts nicer for soloing.

Very true, specially at low lvls, I notice a great difference between my Claws/DA and my DM/DA in terms of endurance.-
