Sooo, do we really have to wait until the whole invasion thing is over? I mean, yeah, the invasion and stuff was cool the first 5 minutes, but it is starting to be annoying, in fact very much annoying, darn it! Don't know if it will have any bearing on your decision, but Devil's Chant was very effective in our team the other night, and the rest were rather disappointed when you left.

Kira, thanks for your kind words. I think i will leave Beloved in that team. As we run this team 2 days a week, i will really miss Chant. So i will play with him on other days.

I think it will be better if we wait 'til Leon back. As he's the lowest lvl hero on the team, if we continue playing gap between our levels will be raise and he can't attend TFs or Trials in the future.
So Nightmarer feel free to play with Magnum as you wish. One higher level hero is better than a team of higher level heroes. Also as you said you have some low level heroes to level up and i want to make a */Psi defender (i have a lvl 2 empath/psi but i don't know if i will keep him or not, being an empath is hard business, especially if you have wonderful examples before you (Mother's Love and Minta Nyx)) we can run a speed leveling team this week.

The thing here is that Agent Magnum is fun to play on this team, anyway, no worries, I'll use this break to farm inf and stoof with my Defiant scrappers and get a few more sets done now that I am really close to get a full Scirocco's Dervish and a full Touch of Death on Nightmarer and I'd like to advance a bit on Clattuc's Crushing Impacts

Heh i am glad i didn't say he is also the lowest level hero in the SG if you don't count my alts.
Last night i start a new hero who reached lvl 7 (A FF/NRG defender, you know how i rant about Air-cell's Electric blast, KB madness is working really nice). After teaming with two wonderfull and interesting looking friends last nite i began to think about new consept group and SG. But first need find some people to join it.

I have more toons than weekdays available to play them, but I am looking for something to do on Fridays - Weekends in Defiant, I have an Earth/Sonic troller and a Dark/Archery defender that need some love, or maybe something on Villains both servers, I am itching now with my brand new Ice/cold corruptor in Union and my Thugs/FF and my stalker on Defiant, oh man, altitis is contagious.-
Actually it is not really altisis. I really bored with low levels. However i don't have enought heroes to play. Deleted all others. Only Psy-knight and Beloved of Apollo was there. As Beloved tied to V6 Silver Team that was only left me Psy-knight which i was waiting for respec.
I made a Ill/TA and MA/Regen but didn't feel like playing them. Illusion is boring to the bone on low levels. So i decided to try a blaster than made Devil's Chant which is great. During Rikti Invasions and RWZ raids i saw many who's suffered mez effects. Decided to make a defender to help as many people as i can. Tried an Empath but i can't play with them. Storm and Kinetics not really for me. So i decided to make my first ever toon in the game a bubbler. Yeah i have Air-cell but i bloody hate from electric blast. So i decided to make FF/Psi but even found the thought of it suffocating and decided to try FF/NRG. With Medicine, Teleport and Concealment pools i think he will be a good multi-task defender.
So now my Union server list only has 5 heroes, Air-cell will be deleted as soon as Forceward get Caverns Mission. If you can call a man with 5 heroes has altisis, well i have it.
But i continue to make builds or heroes just for seeing them action. As role of the leader always have been my burden in teams i must know at least little about all ATs and Sets.
I am not certain about this new SG thing but i can tell that; last nite we were 3 on the team. One half-dragon, one half-fey and one half-yuan-ti looking heroes. So maybe i will start a SG for D&D half races look-a-like toons. Devil's Chant is also looks like a half-fiend creature.
Well, then don't worry, altitis will catch you sooner or later
I think your problem with Air-Cell is not the secondary, it is the FF which is highly demanding on teams.
If you want to to a more "relaxed" defender, I'd advise you dark/XX, not only a powerful and helpful toon but also you get your Dark Servant at lvl 32 which will assist on debuffs, holds and heals. I have a dark/dark which I immensely enjoy at lvl 36 in Union and a dark/archery in Defiant at lvl 9 and I am seriously considering a Dark/Sonic which I think would be a great combo with all the -resistance debuffs it can stack.-
Heh i had altisis, making a hero for a day than got bored.
Actually i like FF because it is kinda fire and forget set. Which will give me enought space between bubbling sessions for doing other things, like blasting bad guys.
The problem with the Electric is it is animation. It shows as hit even when you miss. Maybe i am wrong but it also has long recharge time.
I tried all defender sets. Here's a little break down from my point of view.
Dark: Not worth to work to level, only thing you do is keep spamming dark powers
Empathy: Dangerous, people always blame you about faults. They see you as heal-bot.
Force Field: One of the most fun sets. Gives good defence bonuses, huge mez protection bubble and ideal for multi tasker especially if you love ghosting.
Kinetics: Same as Dark. Not fun.
Radiation Emission: This set rocks. Throw your toggles than fire away your blasts. AM is my favorite buff. Also has best res power in game.
Sonic: Like bubbler but didn't like it. Even with the new grapic fx still not for me.
Storm Summoning: This one is kinda nice for getting wild. But most of the team mates don't approve that kinda behavior.
Trick Arrow: I will make one in the future. I deleted my TA/Psi and still regreting it. TA/A not for me i prefer solid damage with annoying redraw animation.
I hope i didn't forget one.

I got it then, earth/storm troller is for you, cast stone cages, that will immob foes with no danger of getting knocked back and getting your team mates annoyed.
I teamed with one (he is damn good with that toon) and it is awesome combo
Gah, now I am itching to roll one, if I roll the dark/sonic and the earth/storm that will make mmy third earth troller and my third dark defender, I... must... resist

Try ice/storm or grav/storm. Fire/Storm was kinda fun, i leveled one 'till lvl 5 .
I can't remember which one that was (Storm/A or Storm/NRG) but with that toon i played my easiest Cave of Igneous mission ever. Poor stone creatures couldn't lift a finger and iirc we completed that one without a team wipe. (without an empath). Turn on Hurricane than run like a rabid dog around.
I'll be there around 8 - got 3 runs tonight for Katie, though I might only do 2 if time is running short.
