How do I use fire breath? (advice please)
Well, first you take a sip from the vodka bottle...
Oh, wait! You meant the fire blast...
In that case you might want to fit as many opponents in the cone as possible, so it might be necessary to convince a spread group of opponents that hugging is good.
To achieve this you could either:
- throw your tanker into the spawn so he can make a nice package for you
or
- pull the enemies around a corner.
Then you target one enemy in the back of the group and go as far away as possible, because cones are wider at maximum range.
Serve with a side dish of your choice.
If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
Just slotted it with some damage and tried what you suggested. Working a lot better now
Now just gotta find a team to spray firey doooooooom on as many mobs as I can
Try and get it 6-slotted - any range you can wangle in there will be well rewarded.

Yeah, more range leads to a wider cone at max range which in turn leads to more kebap.

Burn baby burn.. flames are getting Wider! lol Couldnt resist
Yeah, slot range, target the guy in the middle rear of the group, and get as far away as possible.
Cones are less effective in close combat, so if you have a blapper style you may want to give this power a miss.
I really should do something about this signature.
Cones are good for replacing blapper style combat when fighting foes who explode though, jump out when they're injured and then breath on the Nems

My Build is aimed at both. Can do reasonable AOE damage for teams but has the blapper powers of /energy to cope with bosses and solo easier.
I've got the AOE powers from fire/ and doing pretty good atm Definately suits my play style (which is all over the place lol).
What about this power with my Ice Fire tanker? I know its the wrong board for this but seeing as it came up, good choice for doing some AoE on my herded enemies?
Possibly not the best. As you'll be roughly in the middle of the spawn, the cone's effectiveness will be limited unless you're constantly repositioning. Fire Sword Circle/Combustion spam along with taunt should keep you busy anyway.

fair comment, cheers.
The cone is also very narrow on the Tanker version, although I still think it's a decent power as 3rd AoE after FSC and Combustion.
Which fight is that avatar from, Mark?
You'll need to position yourself as the distance isn't huge on it, but as your'e a NRG secondary, grab boost range, the n you'll be able to roast huge mobs, maybe use it as a prelude to your nuke to help finish off the stragglers you miss?
my fire/fire blaster soloes orange colored mobs with; hit BU->AIM->get sooooomewhat close hit FireBall->Fire breath, and watch em drop
Hi,
I've just getting fire breath slotted now and I am having difficulty in gaining the most out of it (spraying groups with my firey breath of doooooooooooooooooom).
Has anyone got any tips on using fire breath on a fire/energy blaster? Is it better to start my chain off with fire breath? Should I ditch fire breath for something else?
Anyway.. any advice appriciated
