Ill/rad in I9 (PvE)

A bit more rchg would be nice,

You could stick a LotG def/+7.5% recharge in SI.
Put another in CJ.
Put a Karma KB protection in there as well, ditch Acrobatics, and get Grant Invis, Hover, Stealth or Manouvers, and slot with another LotG def/+7.5% recharge. (the power does not have to be active for the bonus to apply).
This gives an additional 22.5% recharge reduction.
I really should do something about this signature.
This is of course a play style choise, and this advice is based on my play style.
I would toss out Fitness and Speed. It might slow you down a bit, but you would be able to get some nice powers. You will also need to stock up on End inspirations and slot some powers with End reductions.
Flash, together with EM Pulse this is a very nice crowd stopper. Jump into the middle of the spawn, especially a spawn where someone is taking a beating. Flash followed but EM Pulse and everything is calm.
Recall friend, since you have decive and superior invisibility you can always go to the boss, and then creating a nice corner for your friends before teleporting them. Ghosting will be your forte.
Mutation, always popular with your team mates especially when they forget to bring enough Defeders to keep them alive.
Group invisisbility, team defence and a non-toggle invisibilioty for yourself every now and again.
Black Light, Electricity/Devices Blaster at Union
White Knight, Illusion/Radiation Controller at Union
Obscurum est absentis lux lucis. Ego sum lux lucis!
Okay i wanted to ask this but as Okton put his build here i can ask it from here.
On Psy-knight i will slot Lingering Radiation with Pacing of the Turtle set which is 5 slotted. I get +9% Acc bonus plus with Sleep and Hold rez.
Or should i left him with his old sloting 2 acc, 2 slow, 1 rchrg.
3 rech please. Slows are not needed btw
Coming from an illusion/storm & fire/rad PoV so some comments mightn't be relevanty...
Personally I slot EMP as a Hold, not a End Drainer due to the unrealbility of End Draining. I've got 3 different Acc/Hold/Recharge in EMP to max it out, topped up with some Recharges. HOs would work as well I suppose. Depends on how you use EMP, it can often be suicide for dropping your toggles on a Rad.
I'd never throw out Fitness, you really need it IMO. Group Invis's defense is tiny, I'd only bother for IO slotting if you really want it.
I've got Pet IOs for the +recovery they can provide. Only takes 2 per set bonus. Blood manadate and Commanding Presence are good ones to slot. Maybe just Blood Mandate in the PA if anything at all. But you may as well get some extra Recovery from the Pantsasm.
Do you need Acrobatics, I never get too much knockback and you don't have choking cloud so you shoudn't need to be in close. As PRAF says Hover with IOs might be a good alternative with Luck of the Gambler in it
Thanks for the replies. Have left this on the side a bit since I've been focussing on getting perma-Hasten on my fire/kin
- Black_Light: this is actually a level 50 respec build and I don't exemp much, so I don't really need Flash. Mutation and TP friend are nice, but not essential. I much prefer SI to GI, especially for the occasional PvP. I would never drop Fitness on a rad with all the toggles. And would never play a troller without Hasten .
- Dark: didn't you leave the game??? There, fixed that for you. And it does sound scary...

- Knightly: As Dark said, you really want recharges in Lingering Rad. That's why I'm leaving it with normal IOs. Slow enhances only affects movement, so it only really helps in PvP.
- Carni: about EM Pulse. I agree the end drain is a bit unreliable (although fun to use in PvP with Power Boost), but with 2 Endos I already get decent hold duration. Haven't looked much at the pet IOs, but I think I did what you mentioned for my Fire Imps. Likewise, I got a -kback on my fire/kin instead of Acro and it works fine. Still waiting for those LotG prices to drop a bit
The thing is I'm still undecided on which set bonuses to go for. On my fire/kin it's clearly +rechg, but for this one, I'm not so sure. (he's already uber)

Oh i never realized that it needs recharge. I know LR's recharge is little longer, before i deleted Psy-knight lvl 34 i really feeling that recharge. But now it is recharged whenever i need it(it has only one slot of +acc SO). This is why i want to change it to set. Maybe it is because of my other set bonuses + hasten + AM. (only set i have now is full hibernate and other two slotted with IO lvl 30). Anyway still didn't start to collect Pacing of the Turtle set. It will give me time to see it on higher lvls.

I did, last month... yet my account is active till the end of June, so, bad news, you still have to bear with me for a little longer

Started thinking about an I9 (PvE/STF) build for my ill/rad (don't even want to think about how much this would cost atm...) and came up with this. I'm still not convinced the IO sets will be better than HO slotting on Blind and EM Pulse.
