I only turned up around 10:30ish but was great fun for the last hour. I did turn up at 7ish but it was fairly deserted.. I'll turn up early again next week and stick it out if im available

You took off pretty much just as things started to heat up.
I'm fairly sure that even during some points when the villains were doing well, we were still outnumbered, but we were teamed the whole time, as Syn and I invited everyone into our team as soon as they turned up. That really helped, and I didn't realise until very late on that a number of the heroes hadn't bothered to team at all.
Given that, I don't think it's going to be difficult to get even numbers on each side in future fights (especially as quite a few people were willing to switch back and forth), it's just a matter of being sure there are (relatively experienced) people willing to lead on both sides. The villain side benefitted from a number of us being people who PvP quite a lot.
Anyway, if we keep it up, I suspect we'll see the balance tip both ways at times, depending on who comes, and who signs onto which side, and who's leading, and so on. I really doubt it will be so one-sided for so long every night, especially given it normally seems like more heroes can be rallied than villains.
Oh when I organise a RV night no one wants to participate.. but when someone else does every jumps at it....

I'd hardly say people jumped at it lol. Should be better next Thursday though.

I find word of mouth better then spam. Speak to those that enjoy pvp and know those that would be interested. Failing that speak to supergroups that dabble in pvp (they still exist).
Ofcourse this approach takes a little more effort but should pay better dividends.

I wouldnt call one message once in a half an hour 'spam'..
Looks like could be quite busy this time around. Speaking to a few hero groups and should atleast be a challenge this time 
.
Just need to make sure we get enough villains so put RV Thursday in your diary .

Buffem and Run told me she quite enjoyed that, although some of the bad people were scarey, so she shut her eyes when there were too many of them.
Lag was interesting for a while, had a few "Oh great, I'm firing IR and I have my foot stuck on a fence" moments, but it was mostly manageable. An enjoyable evening.
Aye that was an enjoyable evening of bashing/being bashed. Lets hope this continues to be a regular thing

Was great fun, even if I showed up late (thanks to RL) and had to switch sides a couple of times as things got a bit unbalanced at points. Great fights there. Hope to see you all next week

Hmm I seemed to have spent four hours at this event 
Stayed on hero side all the way through and felt like we were outnumbered right up untill the very end. Still it was rather crazy with a few villains taking a huge disliking to me

I enjoyed last night, spent about half an hour on villains till the heroes started getting outnumbered. Then switched to Heroes and formed a really great team. After about 2 hours villains outnumbered the heroes and my team had left to do some Arena PvP. So I switched back to my villain for AV badges (still need Synapse).
I didn't have much lag although I saw people broadcasting about it.
Twas another good nite, side were a little more balanced although I personally thought that the villains outnumbered the heroes the whole time I was there. Manged to get my rep from 3.5 to 20.5 though which was great! I had left by about 9:30 as All I could see was villains and any heroes about wouldn't invite me to team. I think a good night was had by all! Unfortunatly I wont be able to make it next week as Ill be on holiday. But I hope everyone will still show up, and Ill be back the week after to have my butt kicked again!

hehe. I rememeber bouncing out the base and seeing the camp robot c3po sitting in the nearest pillbox (actually I had no idea what it was at the time, but it COULD have been c3po). Land almost right next to him for a closer look and before i can say "omg! its positron! DIVE DIVE!" he takes me to 1hp. Was lucky to escape :O)

I wouldn't mind, but this is actually the second time Recluse has got me. I didn't even see him until after I was dead the first time.
