Unless vs a kin troller
I like the combination of having a Regen and a SR on 50. Usually the only opponents I cannot get at least a draw on, are Kinetics Trollers, or Trollers in general. If I know, I will be fighting a Troller, just log onto your SR Scrapper and the fight is pretty much decided.

I dont think a /kin can beat a proper /sr in arena. It will eat every regen tho

Does SR have repel resistance?
Just wondering how TK from mind/ would fair? Also, I seem to remember something about Dominate being classed as an untyped damage attack, thus causing problems for defence based sets.
Not that my mind/kin could beat an /SR - I'm not a great PvP player myself. Just thought that the above might provide some protection, and a judiciously timed Geas could be enough to get the kill.
Just a thought - I could be talking nonsense

EDIT: Tis late, I'm dumb. Guess the scrapper would just use BF's to ride out the Geas period and could afford to pop 4 to break the TK if they were on a small arena map.
Sr doesnt have repel resistance. Invuln is the only one that does. Sr is imo the best secondary vs controllers because trollers can only kill scrappers by mezzing them, thus the one with better defense would avoid more holds than the rest. And besides, the slow resistance, the clickie (and stackable) mez protection and the pseudo second hasten. All those are the reasons why I think /SR has better chances to beat a troller than any other secondary in a duel

You would think that wouldn't you...but in practice its not that simple..cause of the slow resistance it makes it easy for the SR to get away from tornado and FR.
I would say im pretty good 1v1 with my Ill/Storm and I always have problems vs SR, although saying that the last time I fought one was before I spec'd my build so it might even swing my way now.

See depends what type of /sr the stormie is fighting scraper or stalker.
Scraper should be an easy fight I would amit hands down but fighting a stalker is a different story altogether plus we havent even counted in what the primarys here.

Not really. Stalker can force a draw by being perma-hidden and thats about it.

nope, the hidekiller would be freezing rain..
also saying EM isnt linked to SR, well that just says how you can't really judge a toon on just his primary or secondary, it's the combination of both that makes the toon.

In zone PvP, SR is quite good sometimes even better than regen. But dont take these bad boys to the arena.
