Take Power Boost and talk to Jum

You've a good ranged chain there, plus a ranged stun... so I'd suggest Power Boost (for the PvP Aim/Build Up +accuracy and Screech duration) with Hasten for your second pick.
Howl is too long an activation in PvP to be useful there really. The Nuke should do you in PvE.
I guess Aid Self, Conserve Power or Siren's Song could be useful if you solo a lot. I'd certainly get the Nuke at 32 and try to fit Conserve Power in eventually.
Sorry i forgot to mention, i picked Siren song already
iam not really impressed of power boost for a blaster, i liked it for my dominator...
Oh another question: screech + stun = disorient, even with a protection like integration, practiced brawler etc. ?

Don't think so, unless you can REALLY stack 'em... should work on PvE bosses though.
Hasten, power boost, conserve power, stimulant+aid self are all good. To be able to use aid self best, you might want to get power mastery and personal force field, although its not a necessity.
ps screech + stun is not enough to go over disorient protection powers. ps. Stun sucks. Use total focus instead. Screech is great stunning those WITHOUT disorient protection though.
Main reasons for power boost:
a.) aid self. It will double your selfheal! (you will heal about 66%-70% of life bar with PB+aid self)
b.) PB+amplify+BU will allow you to hit through most every defense (elude, personal forcefield, MOG, you name it), at least when slotted right.
c.) It will double the disorient duration when you know opponent is out of breakfrees.
but i can only take 2 powers till i reach 30...so i cant take aidself + powerboost...i can get all these powers later but my focus is on lvl 30 cause of PvP in sirens

In that case Id recommend conserve power. (I currently have aid self in my build in sirens but not power boost, and Id rather have conserve power tbh)
Iam still thinking of taking "Howl", cause its my only (Aoe/Cone) attack under 32, till i get my nuke...
but the damage is so bad and the animation so frustrating long (but the sounds are cool)
any experiences?
BANG BANG!!!
Take howl if you do team PvE, if you solo PvE or do PvP, I'd leave it.

My personal experiences, if you want to have a character thats decent in both pve and pvp, concentrate on singletarget attacks and leave cones and Aoes.
OK after 3hours of PVP in sirens yesterday, i can say that the life of a blaster can be very short But everytime i die, i took 1 enemie with me...
Screech seems to be very useless, i might better take energy punch instead of if...
And all enemies who got EM are very deadly for me, cause of no disorient protection
And 1 single target hold from a dominator is enough to break my acrobatics, oh boy that was frustrating... (ive never played squishies before)
BANG BANG!!!
I've found screech very handy in both PvP and PvE so I wouldn't drop it from my build. A ranged disorient is a great thing, it could just be that some of your targets were disorient resistant.
Life as a squishy in PvP is indeed short, my sonic blaster kisses the floor a few times every time I set foot in a PvP zone but generally you can take someone with you as you go.
One of the frustrations of playing a Blaster I find is that you've got some excellent melee attacks at your disposal but no 'real' protection when at that range. Still, I guess that's just the price you pay for the damage.

ZOMG! Where did this thread about Sonic/Energy come from!?!?

Blasphemy! Do not get rid of Screech, it is by far one of the most useful powers within the set. Because it's a disorient it can practically break any squishy Villains mez protection, even if they have Acrobatics as it doesn't protect against Stun. It's brilliant to use on Corruptors and MM's, and maybe even the occasional stalker if your lucky.

Shouldn't it be two holds? I think Acrobatics can protect against the one.
Be you on Union or Defiant Rawside?
Most of my enemies were stalkers + brutes yesterday, so everyone of them were very resistant to disorient...
In PvE screech might be a good thing..but i think for PvP:
BU + AIm --> scream + shout + bonesmasher + energy punch will be a more then deadly combination
BANG BANG!!!
Union
BANG BANG!!!
What's the name/level of your Blaster?
Wouldn't say no to a bit of teaming with him. And that combo would indeed be quite tasty, but if you can stun them with Screech before hand then it can work well even more so!

Trick is to click break free BEFORE their attack hits.. That way you can still fight back, and gamble between killing them with defiance and running away. Your character will get better as you level though.

Iam no friend of using inspirations in PvP fights. I hate ppl popping 10 purples and 10 reds who need this to kill someone...maybe i die a bit more often cause of this fact, but i die with honour
BANG BANG!!!
There is little honour in death, you will simply die
Also the general opinion that inspirations are somehow 'cheating' is dangerous and must be rooted out. They are put into the game for a reason by devs, and exist for us to use. Ultimately, pvping without inspirations on a blaster will get you nowhere.
pressing the elude button before entering sirens call...not fair, but possible, same [censored], diffrent #?"§&%!)§
but this must everybody decide for themselfs...so not worth discussing
BANG BANG!!!
how to slot screech?
2 acc / 3 disorient duration / 1 recharge?
And why are all sonic animations rooted...this the only thing in sonic that is really annoying me and [censored] me off...

Because it's the way the set was designed, like Energy.
And I'd probably go 2acc 2disorient 2rech if you've got that many slots, if not, 2acc 2rech. Maybe throw in some Acc/Mez if you can get any when you hit 47+.

And if thats your genuine opinion then i don't think your suited for PvP, certainly not whilst playing a blaster at least. Indeed there is no honour in death, but neither is there in hitting the defence or resistance cap via popping several hundred inspirations. If you play to win, yes, inspirations are more than fair game, but if your playing for excitement, or to test your character, inspirations are possibly the most useless things ever, they alter your character temporarily, so to the fact you don't actually know how to play without them sometimes.
They were put into the game well before PvP, they have not been removed for PvP, that neither tells us they are meant for PvP or not, however it makes fools out of us all to assume what the right and wrong thing to do in this case. Truth is characters in the CoX world are meant to compliment each other, the use of inspirations offsets this to make solo play easier.
And furthermore PvP'ing without inspirations as a blaster will get you nowhere? Ha, as a blaster i've taken on 3 brutes before and won, and 1 brute and a stalker in a 2vs1. Both without inspirations, the problem you have is a lack of tactics i think if your finding playing a blaster in pvp without inspirations an uphill struggle, a blaster can do alot more than smash (Jums disorienting, Plights End Drain, any Ice blasters holds etc).
Back on topic anyway, Sonic/Energy is a great build, ive seen these stun through even the best disorient resistance with a little luck & some ingenuity. A Power that is a must from the sets themselves is most noteably Power Boost, i only wish i could have this on my non Energy Manipulation Blaster!
Ive just started an Sonic / Energy Blapper...he should be able to do well in PvP & PVE
my current build:
Shriek
Scream
Shout
Power Thrust
Bonesmasher
build up
combat jumping / superjump / acrobatics
swift / health / stamina
Aim (Amplify)
Screech
Now i got 2 Slots left till i reach 30 (I pvp mainly in sirens call). So what should i take...i thought about
assault + tactics or
stimulant + aidself
conserver power + hasten
hasten + howl
any suggestions...would be nice
BANG BANG!!!
