There was me thinking this was about inside the PvP zones, where things weren't fully organised and laid out?
A pre-planned match in the Arena? Sure, I'd agree there's more thought related to PvP in that instance.
The Arena is for children - grown-ups battle it out in the zones

No flames here. Took the words out my mouth. If you like the arena, go there. If zones get you all jangly, go there. They are different games, but one isnt "better" than the other.

I guess it comes down to the question why does a certain player PvP. Arena can provide an enviroment that is more or less equal for players, whereas for precisely opposite reason Zones may be 'fun' to play in. (AND of course the only way for lvl 50 heroes to fight each other is in arena..)
The reason certain people stick to arenas is because zones offer no challenges for a proper pvp team. It wouldn't be that way if there would be enough players in the zone, but with the EU player amounts Im afraid thats a fact we must face.
We need some pvp team to 'challenge' the rest of server saying they will 'take over the pvp zone at this and this time and date'. I think we'd see proper action then. (Unfortunately some other people would frown at this because they'd think it is 'self-promotion' whereas actually it would just be a way to get a challenging fight..)
ps. Xan just doesnt see its worth the trouble trying to explain this to people.. Nobody is blinder than the person who doesnt wish to see.. etc.
PPs. Arena is a tool for people to find out what really works against what. People who are interested at this are what Xan refers to as 'good' pvpers.

I wasn't being completely serious
I just prefer the battlefield feel of the zones rather than the atmosphere of the Arena.

And call it ego if you want, but I really don't consider a zone where 95% of the players are stalkers/scrappers filled with kids calling names on you cause 'you caused me debt you...' worth really
Lol both ones require skill, but when you are fighting in a pvp one (( that i do alot )) is just varies when your in a zone, if your with a group of 8 heroes, fighitng lets say 16 villains? you have to use your tactics, and surroundings as your advantage, ZONE pvp requires alot of skill, expecially when you are outnumbered.
Arena pvp, is where the big pvp is, so yes, you have to have 'alot' of skill if your going to have regular pvp there. but its alot more straight forward and less tactical

Sorry, i thought you were spines/regen, so many around its an automatic assumption I make now, although there have been less and less recently. Anywho, my point was that you play an AT which is good for pvp then say there is no challenge, but I think that wasnt what you said previously after all.
