Freezing Rain ASAP, Hurricane and Snow storm are also very important, those 3 are the main powers from storm.
Get Freezing Rain ASAP, its more useful to you than Hurricane or Steamy Mist. Crush Field + Freezing Rain = PatchOfDeath!
I got Crush over Lift for immobilising AVs and for the Containment with Propel. I find soloing that holding one mob & immob & Propelling his mate goes well. Crush is DoT, which is slightly annoying, but it does slightly more. The DoT works ok with the long animation time of Propel though. However you have Crushing Field so that should do instead with an End Red in it maybe at some point.
O2 Boost is pretty pants. I'd get Snowstorm instead of it personally, the -recharge is pretty handy at low levels, and vs bosses / AVs and the AOE -fly is great against Witchies and the like. Pity the Devs went and made it so bloody hard to see in (and why do Villains still get the old, easy to see version?). Snowstorm also combines well with Hurricane, making it harder for them to approach you.
Tornado is going to be messy, only Grav Distort & GDF have -knockback, your Crush / Crushing Field doesn't. That said I have it with my Illusionist, who's even messier. As long as you bide your time with it it can be great (a level 46 one keeping a level 50 Fake Nemises busy while the team killed his minions for example).
Oh, I've never bothered with Thunderclap. PBAOE Disorientate when you've a ranged AOE hold & the Wormhole / Crushing Field combo? Plus Thunderclap only affects minions which seems pants to me.
Wormholing mobs into a corner and pinning them there with Hurricane sounds like an awful lot of fun actually.
Also with my Fire / Rad I found Air Sup brilliant earlier on (although you do have Propel, Lift or Crush & Grav Distort already) and unused after level 32. Hover might be better for in combat flying in an attempt to switch Knockback to Knockdown for Wormhole, Lightning Storm and maybe Hurricane. I've never tried fly & Hurricane to hover over their heads. I suspect the pushback will still exist but anyone directly under you would have knockdown istead of knockback.
Lightning Storm does benefit from this tactic though. With Carni I just try and do Jump & Lightning Storm in the middle of a bunch to get it high enough so its attacks do Knockdown instead of knockback. Hover / Fly lets you do the same thing even easier.
I haven't got to Wormhole on my Grav / TA yet so I don't know if my "Hover & Wormhole directly beneath me" plan will actually work yet.
Thanks for the advice. I actually like O2 Boost - as a combined heal and demezzer in one, it doesn't give you the healing power of Emp or Kin but does get handy in a tight corner.

O2 is great against Freaks & Knives too, with their sleeps and stuns.
Since you're taking Snowstorm so late you could replace it with Haste if you wanted. I find Snowstorm is great in the early game and gets less used as you get AOE controls. Carni uses it all the time still as I've no AOE Immob.

I would definatelly go for Snow Storm instead of Thunderclap. It only lags ( I've never lagged because of it, just can't see a thing ;P )when you use it in huge mobs. You can either lower your settings a bit or use it in Bosses/AVs/PvP only.

I run on Med Char and Low World detail with particles set very low, and it still screws me up every time someone uses it.

My grav storm is Circadian and I was wondering about slotting. Also what i want is a hero who can immobilise a big group and then chip away over time while teammates finish off. I'm about to respec, any advice?
Many, many of your key Grav/Storm powers and combos will achieve this.
My slots:
WORMHOLE: 2xAcc, 2xDisDur, 2xRchg
GDF: 3xAcc, 1xHold, 2xRchg
CRUSH FIELD: 2xAcc
FREEZING RAIN: 1xAcc (for the knockdowns), 3xRchg, 1xSlow
As the man says above, Crush Field + Freezing Rain = PatchOfDeath. If your GFX card can handle it, add in Snow Storm for practically a total lockdown.
And of course, you can Wormhole any fleeing minions who escape back into the PatchOfDeath. Particularly good when you can corner a bunch of them against the scenery.

Cheers mate getting wormhole asap. I make my Patch of Death extra spicy with snowstorm, crushing field , freezing rain and grav distortion, when everyone is held, or someone tries to get away I gale them all back in.

I have a grav/storm curently at lvl 32. Propel does great dmg, but the activation is pants. When a boss is running toward me lift is much better. If i've had time to throw GD at him, then after he gets up from the lift, GD has recharged(2 acc,2 hold, 2 rchg). If not a boss he's held after lift & GD.
At a corner, out of sight of mobs, of course, hurricane on & wormhole does indeed pin mobs, but you need crush field to really stop them running past the hurricane effect, then you can sidestep a little either way to reposition them, otherwise a few WILL get away from the hurricane.
Once you have wormhole it opens up all sorts of tactics that you previously didn't have. For example, when in a team with a tank who can handle the aggro, wormhole the next mob on to him(into a wall maybe to minimise the KB). Extremely effective with the AoE's toons have after 26 anyway(Wormhole level). No tank, but out of line of sight use it to pull mobs with disorient then hold bosses or lift 'em.
Corners are the real speciality of Grav/Storm is seems to me, the harder part being open ground, but with hurricane & Gale (yes Gale) you can reposition mobs nicely for freezing rain & snow storm.
At least keep going until Wormhole & then try it out to see what you can do.
One thing you are not(mostly) is an alpha taker. Unless with a few lucks maybe or against lower lvl mobs.
But anyway, a very fun combo that can pull off things which other toons simply cannot do. Works very well with a good Earth troller(wormhole into volcanic gases)
Anyway opinion enough from me, play more !!!
<Edit> Ah, just in case i didnt make it clear, me feelings on 2 of the powers is Propel for solo, Lift for teams. & nice to see agreement on some power usage

Thought I'd chip in as no-one seems to have mentioned it. There is a fix for the graphical error Snow Storm causes in the next patch. Might be worth tying it out on test to see if you still have an issue with it, it is a great power afterall.

PvE you really only use it as a panic button and for AVs when in teams. If you solo alot then same slotting.
Lightning Storm
PvP. it needs 2 end red. after that go 3end drain or 3dam or 2dam 2 end. The end drain works well on small maps like the office and cage where people cant get out of range easy.
PvE. 2 end red if you dont team much so dont get end buffs. If you plan on teaming alot with empath, kins etc i would slot 3dam 2 recharge. The end drain for PvE isnt good as most things die fast and the end draining takes a while.
Following on from this - does anybody have a build they'd care to post please ? I''ve created a grav / storm troller myself and desperately want to play him, however i haven't the first idea about slotting, and powers to take etc.
Alternatively if anyone knows of any good links to guides... I've googled it but it generally comes back with what each power does rather than a build set.

I can hear you. I make same combo with AS+Levitate with Psy-knight. With good holds of mind i can put 2 other out of fight with Mesmerize and dominate then have fun with the 3rd. Maybe i can kill the 3rd one more quick with Mes+Lev+Dom chain but it is less fun.
