Yup, was a great time. Really enjoyable to see everyone running around with so much enthusiasm. 
I'm tempted to poke people into doing this on a "regular" basis; maybe once every three or four weeks. Just a chance to get badges, or simply get together to hit something really, really big.
Given how quickly we moved onto other things - despite the original intention being one version of Lusca, and one alone - it wouldn't be out of the question to, say, hit Siren's Call as a huge crowd or go nuts in one of the other zones.

Though I have to say after the second Lusca got dropped it did get kinda creepy, with the swarm of spandex clad heroes swarming accross IP like bloodthirsty locusts

Was an absolute blast, and only died once and Augury wouldn't let me in her box 
....but the damn thing wouldn't light, must of been a damp day.

Yes I have to agree it was a lot of fun. The first tentacle did cause a lot of casualties but I think it was enthusiasm that caused that.I hadn't had chance to lay on my radiation debuffs before the mass of orange hero names but after that the faceplants were not so common. I faceplanted but that was due to a google chat window popping up at a wrong moment.... I'm serious! 
Once the bloodlust started we couldn't get enough. Don't think I've ever defeated 3 Luscas in one evening. Shame some of the GMs didn't spawn for us and some are as rare as rocking horse .....
I think it's a shame we couldn't have tried for Jurassik and others which with the security level restrictions people would miss out so that's a no go.
Peregrines open to all hmmm how about Monster Island? No badges but plenty to go at.

Nope, the only time I planted were both Lusca fights. The Jack/Eochai battle caused much unintentional hilarity on TeamSpeak, since the people on TS were the people forcing the spawn, whenever we'd need something to be done, instructions were yelled at everyone going after the GMs onto TS...when only a handful of us could hear them.
Admittedly, if people had actually listened to the countless Broadcasts of "Wait, DON'T attack that lot" then there would have been less Faceplants during the Jack/Eochai GM fights...
And, anyway. I'm a Blaster. I shoot things till they're dead. I don't "help" people. I merely mock their pain. And then laugh at Hidden Healer, when it takes him around 10 minutes to get a level 12 character from Atlas to Independance Port, and it takes Spawnus somewhere around five minutes to get a level ONE character from Atlas to Croatoa.

I avoided debt very well with Morgana until last night... survived three Luscas, then got planted by a mob near the first Eochai, and then...
I made the mistake of turning to see what was on telly while we were waiting for Jack to spawn. As I turned around I realised there was a flipping Rascal on Morgana's head pounding her into unconsciousness...
BUT... I got resurrected just at the end and got the badge anyway!
So it was worth it. Thanks to everyone, it was great fun!
And Caerwiden (who was playing Many in all this) says his tentacles are better than Lusca's.

After being clobbered by Lusca earlier in the day, Iron Paladin was really pleased about the Lusca bash, got the badge in double quick time and racked up a few spirits from the ghost ship. Thanks to those who organised this and thanks to Ika Ika who invited Thyristor when the action moved to Croatoa. The Pumpkin Queen badge was what she was after in order to get the 'geas of the kind ones'accolade. The whole thing was great fun and the screenshots look great.

Well, your loyal reporter with her awesome computer (core 2 duo E6400, geforce 7900, 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM, yumyumyum) was there for the Great GM Hunt of '06 and took the time in between spamming tranfusion and clobbering things 10 to a 100 times bigger than her to get some nice snapshots. Lusca was rather hard as it's too big to get a good view of without being out of range of heals, so sorry if those aren't too good. You can tell I tried to make it for it with the other four GMs we fought after that.
I hope y'all enjoy these and if anyone wants to have the original high res version of a picture just toss me a PM and we'll be able to sort something out.
