Woot good to hear youve got a front page coming up mate, it will be a good way to get some new peeps into the arena as for my lack of arena activity lately (thursday and friday) been working hard :/ anyway i should hopefully be back in the arena either tonight sunday or monday with omega mcx or X-16
Hmm. Not many people have been turning up recently - i certainly havent(been late, by that time everyones in a match or someting, so i leave, there was a party last night)

I've been wanting to get into Arena matches for a while now.
Ill try to be there tonight, but I got early morning tomorrow so can't stay too long.
I'd love to see more beginning players get interested about arena pvp. Do come forward, don't be afraid! Im hoping to be able to offer pointers, discussion and of course practise at any lvl. Beginners can of course practise against each other, with us more experienced people as 'coaches'. I'd love to see that happen
Btw normally we've been on galaxy arena, emerald section.

As some of you know, the A8PM events have been somewhat inactive for the past few weeks, so as of Monday I hope to try and reactivate these events, the event was a boom when it started and I believe it has life left in it. So on Monday 9th October 8pm, come on down to the arena no matter what level you are and if enough interest is shown A8PM can once again be a smash hit on defiant.

Unfortunately the difficult part is "every day", as you yourself said you could come "every now and then". Its the same for everyone so I'm hoping to see a bit coordinated effort in this.
If you show up at time and theres nobody around, stick around for 20 minutes just in case someone would show up. It's not gonna work if it turns to "duel captain alpha at 8pm everyday". Wish people would be more understanding. Besides, Jakku wanted this to be a bit of discussing builds and that socializing jazz too.

My thoughts exactly, what im trying to do is not simply get people to turn up and shove 'em straight in2 a match, theres the social aspect aswell. I want the event to be a variety, a place where even if you dont feel like fighting other players you can still hang around and have fun. What i want to do now to try and get the most out of this event is get some player feedback, so my question is:
"If you showed up at the new A8PM on monday what do you want to see?" i.e. What sort of matches (Gladiator, Teams etc), what sort of structure e.g. player challenge player duels or set matches planned for a certain date. Any suggestions for the event you have at all would be most appreciated.
I know PvP isn't everyone's cup of tea, tbh it isn't on the top of my list for the most enjoyable aspect of Co* but with enough intrest from the community i can tell this event can be made into something worthwhile.

I haven't been down at "A8PM' for sometime now because i've had alot of work on the last month. But as everyone is trying hard to get this back up and running i will try and get down every 2 days if not everyday. If i don't I wil try and get my brother to fill in my space, although hes toons aren't really high in lvls but he likes Arena and would like to get into it more. I have told him that you lot know more about building PvP toons than me so maybe you can help him out with making his toons better.

Not that I know of. Jakku (Clawed Man) left and this idea left with him. When I was there it was good fun and Im sure if we got enough people putting their names down it would start back up.

FAB night - alot of people turned up which was absoloutely brilliant
so we got that done. my first front-pager 
Me and Mr apollo(2 claws/regens) had a great fight, which bull. watched, was amazing. i got him pretty far down at times, as he did too. was good all in all
was only 2 big matches - a 2-teamed one in OFFICE ><, which went all b0rked but non-the-less fun.
second match was exemped to the lowest - was pretty good, cause it was so god damn easy to kill people!
BUT THE REAL NEWS
from tomorrow the A8PM will have a notice on the front page! which is a great thing to hear, sent an email to bridger and he is more than happy to do it
Cant wait until we actually start getting regulars ;P i know i will attend them all
