Necro/Dark stamina or no stamina
Take stamina, ditch leadership.
From what I understand stamina isnt needed if you dont take leadership, since the leadership toggles are so heavy on the constant end drain.
Are you saying I need stamina for the dark part of the build? Is dark very end needy?
@Boerewors
With dark you'll be running 2 costly toggles, and spamming certain powers. Personally I find stamina necessary, and even with it manage to run out of endurance in harder fights. and there's no way you'll be able to fit in leadership in any efficient /dark build.
I have a level 33 necro/dark. I have leadership but not fitness, mistake. Rarely if ever use the leadership toggles as my end bottoms out so rapidly, and casting at this level requires me to pause for breath.
I'm still irritated that no matter what I build I always seem to need stamina, its depressing when you're trying to build for fun, you still need to be able to keep up and be efficient and to do that you really have no choice but to take stamina.
Anyway... I digress.
Bottom line, even MMs really need stamina... imo.
For Dark to be effective stamina is needed. There are too many good powers in dark which are often spammed and with the toggles you will use your endurence quickly.
The leadership powers are not needed.
Only alt i have without stamina is a bots/ff mm once set up its fairly light on endurence usage particularly if solo.
Altitus doesnt have a cure just more alts
I'd back up everything said above. Stamina is definitely handy. Both toggles munch up end, I want mobs perma feared, and the heal is actually a good one to spam cause it also debuffs. All this means end is an issue

I'll play Devil's Advocate so and say that while Stamina should be worked in long run (sooner the better) I found the leadership pool quite helpful at lower levels. Those above are all correct in that you will find yourself burning up endurance but as long as you aren't overzealous in being active in the fight (i.e. just stand back with the odd attack and heals when needed) and have rest slotted for recharge you can manage quite well.
To be honest I pretty much ignored my secondary power pool until after I had stamina so perhaps this is why I managed with leadership.
I'm currently going for a staminaless Necro / Dark build. So far its easy enough to do I find, I spend my time Fearing, Tarring and debuffing as well as directing the meatbags and its all good. Occasionally a blue needs to be consumed but I rarely run out of Stamina. I do have the toggles slotted with 1 End Red each so that helps & I don't attack myself.
Currently 26, I reckon the 40s could be a struggle with the PPPs & no Stamina...

Sorry to digress further, but I think most builds don't need Stamina. I think it depends how you want to run your toon, but I find if I manage my toggles, attack rate and accept that I'll need to rest every so often I'm fine. In fact more than fine, I have 3 more power slots.
I haven't tried Leadership with either of my MMs, admittedly only 12 & 24 so I'm also interested in peoples views on these powers. But I'd probably only use them for a boost not as constant powers.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. lvl 33 - bots / dark MM - i've taken leadership, and not stamina and don't have any end problems. Main reason is down to not taking any attacks myself (leave that to the pets. I'm a mastermind, why should I get my hands dirty?) and concentrate on spamming buffs and the odd toggle or two.
With longer fights stamina would make things easier perhaps, but I don't think stamina is by any means necessary.

repeat after me...
LEADERSHIP IS OVERRATED!
fitness is much more useful and since you're /dark you'll be having quite alot of end problems. And if you still feel you need leadership go for thugs/dark.
I do not have stamina.
I have bots / dark.
I have no end problems.
If I took stamina over assault and tactics, I'd have to loose a power elsewhere.
When i8 comes out with the inevitable free respec (yes, yes I know there's been no official notification of a free respec), I'll probably try it on test with stamina and without leadership and see how I go. At present, I'm not in any real rush to respec because I'm not experiencing any problems with my build

I have read many guides and some advocate a Leadership/Stamina route others advocate no sta/leadership.I am coming up to lvl 8 now and the question remains with me, must I go Sta/Leadership or not at 8 its the critical choice.
If you do go sta/leadership, can you get by without a travel power until much later?
Your help would be appreciated.
