Uhm, can I ask why you've picked Acrobatics? Not criticising your choice, but would very much like to know the reasoning behind it.

Yes, that is a bit of a strange one, Unyielding does everything you could ask for. You could take Resist Elements for an extra little bit of resistance.

rather than 3 end redux this think about the overall end cost of the build and perhaps 2 end redux this and 2 end redux temp invuln however once you drop acrobatics you are gonna be so much better off endurance wise.

its quite a good buff when surrounded without additional tohit slotting. The tohits dont add alot here and when numbers thin you dont get much. I would think you have enough accuracy in attacks, plus if you 3 tohit foc acc think you wont need to put tohit here, recharge in follow up maybe better still recharge so you can maintain high dps and even stack damage and acc buffs.

My build would look like this if i had claws/invuln:

but i like to level up on a gimped build.

*is totally and completely unsurprised to find Veskit in this thread*

On a side note, something I've noticed. Quite a few of the lists here have Super Jump. Is this personal preference, or is there a reason for it?

[/ QUOTE ]Personal preference, there are very few sets that need a certain travel power, only stone armor (TP), and the armor sets that lack KB protection, really.

It's purely a personal thing mate, unlike some builds (most notably anything / DA ) there's no actual required travel power. Ves has TP, I gave him that after trying Flight, respeccing to SS so he wasn't always the last one to the mission (seriously, what kind of scrapper is always late for a fight? ) and eventually getting bored of having to go the long way round half the zones just to hit things.

Having said that, I'm considering respeccing again soon and swapping TP for SJ, as it's highly enjoyable just bouncing around some of the zones for a while, leaping from roof top to roof top, and it looks cooly as hell

Well, mate, on that we have to disagree. I adore flight if only from the simple super-hero-ness of it, and SJ does get mighty annoying for those of us who haven't the control for it. And as for SS, well...

Teleport's nice, though. Very fast. Admittedly, you can't do it Nightcrawler style, but I'll live.

I now have SOs and Stamina.

I think Godhood itself has somehow manifested within Syracuse.

Hehehehe

I expect another post here once you pick up Invincibility to celebrate your improved godlyness

And then another when you pick up Unstoppable for the same reason, just shinier

In my experience it's contributed a lot to overall DPS; I tend to use it as my first hit, then unload with the AoE attacks and other hard hitters. Rinse and repeat.

With SO damage enhancements coming into play, the effect feels a lot more substantial; I'm three-hitting yellow minions with it, and obliterating groups (highlight: taking on fourteen Sky Raiders at once, five of which were Lts).

I shudder to think what the character would have been like pre-ED.

okay , what is the buff ? 30 % ? 50 % etc.

Posted

I think it's around 30/40% though I can't be entirely sure.

Anyway...

Level 30 tonight and still powering through the enemies. Getting pretty excited as level 40 comes into view, I must say. Had my reservations about taking Invincibility - I've been fighting a lot of Sky Raiders and Family - but once I got into fights with Freakshow...rawr. All those people in melee makes me damn near untouchable.

Current record is taking on something like twenty-four Freakshow, with inspirations, and swaggering out almost completely unharmed.

I feel awesome.

Id say its like adding a +3 SO to any attack within the duration of follow up, when you have 3 * +3 SOs eventually in an attack follow up will show ya what itll be like to have 4 SO's. It adds about 39% roughly to your base rate and looks great when you have no damage slotted as the extra damage is really noticeable but as you add more slots, the damage buff is less noticeable. I look at it as temporarily adding an SO.

Hey, hey! Insulteth not the might of the blaster!

Now, back on topic...

Death's Head Jack, my new Claws/Invul, is now wondering around Quarantine. Still a little too early to tell, but he seems fun. And vicious as hell.

Hit level 32 and respecced. Seen a significant boost in my DPS as a result, but I'm distinctly underwhelmed by Shockwave's animation.

Gonna slow down now, I think. Chewing through groups of +2s, but the "grind effect" is kicking in, and I'd rather not burn out on the game.

Fun, though.
