Ah right, so it annoys other players then.
Do it more often! With Prestige Power Slide Running!
I think that Chiefette mentioned that when she first started the game, she was new to defence/resistance and jumped around like crazy.
I think we all did.
Movement is still one of the best survival tools in PvP and PvE.
What ex said, its one of the biggest playstyle differences between the good PvPers and the bad.
The good ones move, the bad ones stand there and get hit in the face.
Damn right, now to make a choon that looks good with prestige power slide running... hmmmmmmmmm, Mini-Chiefette maybe.

That poor poor Dagger Boy didn't know quite what hit him. My favorite bit was when he tried to use Aid Self, only to be interrupted by all the brawls which were firing at the time :P

Totally. If you don't move around, you're dead. That's it. The sooner people realise that, the sooner they'll stop whinging about Stalkers being overpowered.

...and still do .
This is the reason my scrapper has only disembowel, hack and HS from his primary. Useless in 1on1 toe to toe, but team PvP is ALL about movement.
Also being teamed with a kin troller and an empath/rad defender increases attack speed and damage too, making the forth attack unecessary.

Well said empath & the previous quote.
I just hope that, the single statement there puts the whole stlaker whine to bed..
Well we can all hope that :P

I couldnt agree more. (except the face part, usually they get spanked on the butt)
though as we proved in my last 3vP match, standin still sometimes is the answer (if you all wanna turtle in a forcefield that is )

Moving around in any combat situation is usually a good thing...But it has only limited use in PvP here in CoX due to the nature of some attacks/moves that plant you for a split second...Moving around has minimal effect on the comba capability/effectivness of a stalkers AS (which I think is not one of their best attacks anyway ).
Even I have managed to AS people when they are moving around like rabid hyper monkeys..

Yep, but moving away means they can't follow up that attack
Rather than trying to fill in attack chains with constant moves, why not dump that approach and try something else that works remarkably well?
Get a couple of decent attack chains set up, but also work your way away from the standing still posture. Move around. Jump a little bit. Move behind some scenary. Run into a group with stealth / superspeed on - while attacking.
You'll find your attacks will have charged up anyway, you're harder to nail down and you can prolong your fights against multiple opponents should you feel the need to, rather than trying to vainly hold your ground.
This works well in PvE too, keeping range between you and your targets in between blows.
