For poison I recommend trying to squeeze neurotoxic breath in there somewhere.
Well, for starters, I would get rid of the Burst and the M30 in the first palce. Burst, because it's weak and pets can do more than enough damage themselves. M30 is for the same reason, plus becuase it's AoE, so you'll only pull tonns of aggro on yourself and that is one sure way into the hospital. Slug is just enough.
Also, for MMs, Fitness is quite useless. You'll most probably never suffer from low endurance since the pets will do the work for you.
Also, the Leadership Pool is very useful for a MM. Safely can go instead of Fitness.
As far as sloting goes:
Both upgrades should have only 3 Recharge Reduction ench. Especially the Tactical Upgrade, since it will recharge very slowly. End reduction is useless, since you only use them once/soldier at summons.

This is Issue Seven. Please recheck the recharge times on the L6 and L32 upgrades. They're as quick as each other.
My recommended slotting? 1x RchgRdx, 2x EndRdx

As for upgrade slotting, I'd say 1 EndRdx in the first, 2 in the 2nd.
Weaken could use some ToHit debuffs, serum isn't opropably worth the power pick, and you'll want neurotoxin breath in there somewhere.

I think its playstyle related too.
Although you can spam your butty off healing your pets with alk, others choose easier and just let them die; focusing on resummoning pets. Specialy with Issue7 fast recharge upgrades can be given fast, though once your big pet dies, not always his summon will be recharged again.
I prefer the 'keep em alive', wich was more related to my bots (long upgrade duration). I went for 3x heal, 2rech,1 endred in my alkanoid, just to be sure i can heal at any time, any place and its great in teams.
If you more go for resummon, i think stamina is less needed. But if you like to fight along using all your powers nonstop (psn debuffing can take a while vs a bigger group) you might have to take it or try to poke in some End-reds in each power.

I'll try to see if I can shoehorn Neurotoxic Breath in somewhere, possibly in place of the M30 Grenade, if it really is that bad. I still want to keep both Burst and Slug as I do want to be able to contribute actively to a fight and not just "defensively" (/Poison). That and I quite like the sound of Burst .
For that reason I'll also want to be keeping Stamina, as /Poison alone (with pretty much only Alkaloid at this time) seems to be rather endurance intensive over time.
ToHit Debuffs in Weaken... yeah, I didn't find any base values for it, so I didn't know if it was worth enhancing, but as I understand its effects stack - unlike those of Envenom - it all adds up, so I'll probably see if I can fit some in.

M30 grenade FTW! Does decent damage and knockdown/back. Does attract a lot of aggro, so use with care - but all those orange numbers - who can resist them. Admittedly I have it on my AR/Dev blaster so might do a bit more damage.

Hmm... might just do away with a travel power. You get temporary travel powers from Mayhem Missions, right?
Dont pin me down on it, but so far i experienced:
5-10 = flypack (jetpack)
10-15 = Jumppack (superjump)
15-20 = rez-thing (selfrez once each hour)
20-25 = ??
25-30 = boost walk/jump/fly (minor)
30-35 = team-recall friend (like recall, but for entire team+pets).
Once you run out, join up a lower team (5-15) and you can get it again. (2 accounts FTW!). So unless they change it, you can perma have travel powers in CoV from mayhems. Though the 2 travelpowers have base-value-speed, can be annoying.

I'm a merc/ff. and i believe having fitness on any character is good. it gives you an advantage and you don't have to wait around or eat blues. i didn't choose m30 greanade as i found it was weak and not worth the aggro. i chose super jump and medicine also. i'm going to get leadership next. i went without a travel power to the very end. it was fustrating but i dealt with it. commando2win. he's like steven seagal in one of his good movies, non of that gelled back hair bs. although my medic sometimes thinks hes seagal. running in all close since he's got low range, hes more like hasseloff and just dies.

I'd drop Serum to free up the slot for Neurotxic breath, serum sucks But that nice cone slow effect of NB rocks!
And it makes me smile watching the elite bosses/heroes reduced to a crawl as they try to move

[/ QUOTE ]Two temp. travel powers of 2 hours from mayhems (SJ and Fly), one 90 min jetpack in 15-20 range, and one more somewhere in sharkshead range.... IMO not enough to create char without travel power.

After having tried out a Mercs/Traps MM in CoV Beta and shortlived Mercs/Traps and Mercs/FF MMs in late I6, I finally pulled my act together and rolled a Mercs/Poison I fully intend on keeping and levelling.
As I have extremely little experience with MMs, how awful a planned build is this? I have thought about swapping Hurdle/Hasten/Super Speed for Swift/Combat Jumping/Super Jump to mirror the powers of the Private (and Sergeant)... possibly with an Air Superiority in there somewhere, if not post L40, as well.
