but its not 'actually' been tested.Especially with the i7 changes

Basically unless we try things we will never succeed

I'll probably be popping into the Hive this evening to check out the PA dropping behaviour a little better so I'll bring a tray of lucks with me and check if mitos are auto-hit.

During sunday's raid, i think i saw someone popping PFF and still dropped a little few seconds later. Likewise an Elude scrapper (at least i think he did that backflip animation) didnt make it more then 3 seconds.

Or i was wrong

I dont see why that would of changed, All that changed was how higher levels scaled to you, and they are still the same as before. The Mitos either have stupidly high acc, or auto hit. And keeping up that level off buffs to keep you safe would A) Cause MASSIVE lag from all the graphics, and B) Be so impractical to keep all the bubbles etc running and keeping everyone buffed all the time..

If it was me, one attack read "missed" when I was eluded, non read "deflected" "dodged" "eluded" or anything else. And it was at least 5 seconds

They were appropriately appalled

They're now putting it all together.

Eight legs, one body, silk,

Just to put the defense question to rest, I used 16 lucks and walked towards Hami. The first blue mito to attack me held me and dropped my superior invisibility and the next 2 attacks from yellow mitos hit without a problem. A GM standing nearby threw in a footstomp too but I'm pretty sure I was already dead at that stage

I also did some positional PA drop testing while I was there and will probably do some more tomorrow when I have more time. I took a position a tiny bit west of an imaginary north/south line through Hami's centre and did a series of drops starting halfway between the starting platfrom and Hami. I wanted to see at what position the decoys would stop appearing on the surrounding rock formations and start appearing in the jelly. All the drops I did I set my camera into first person view, facing straight down. The PA summoning target was clicked on as close to the centre of the screen as I could estimate.

Summoning them HERE made them appear on the rocks and summoning them HERE made them appear in the jelly. Anything south of the first shot appeared on the rocks and anything north of the second appeared in the jelly.

Tomorrow I'm going to drop PA at random locations and see if they'll appear only at certain spots. I started doing a little of that today and it did appear like they were only landing in certain places. It'll be interesting to see if it's possible to position the decoys at predictable locations.

Had a read through the US threads and there are a few points that come up

PA Aggro will be pulled off of them from proximity of other threats so they will need to be used to take aggro on the side away from the mito clearing teams, they also need to remain within control range of the Ill controller or they stop moving.

Mito Hold Mag this has increased to the extent it can now overcome tank/scrapper mez protection - dispersion bubbles seem to help here and means empaths can concentrate on healing rather than clear mind

General Mito Aggro mitos will attack each toon which aggros it until they drop in the order they give aggro. I haven't seen any comments on taunt on them but I can see this becoming a necessity - just need to make sure any taunting only hits a single mito and definitely not hami - hmm what mag tp foe would be needed to pull one out of the jelly.
This also means that the mitos must be pulled away from one side of hami so the hami tank doesn't accidently taunt them, otherwise multiple mito aggro on the tank means dead tank

Hami Held as hami can continue attacking after being held it is difficult to tell when this occurs - the hold not the attack. The best suggestion appears to be having someone outside the jelly reporting on visual indications - stone, ice, tesla but obviously won't catch mind or dark

Oh and expect a lot more debt

ahh i see...

Is this another I7 bug tho or WAI?

[/ QUOTE ]

If it's a bug, don't expect a fix anytime soon.........

Yeah itd not as important as that nasty game breaking issue where you got 10 SOs for your character instead of 1 in Croatia tf that need an immediate fix.

I tested def aswell, was running maneuveurs, combat jumping and shadow fall (all of which state +Def(All)), and took 12 lucks and got hit by one yellow mito twice and died, no misses by it at all. Will perhaps try and get darkest night on one later and see if I can reduce its acc instead and take a tray of greens to test more hits =)

If Defense worked against Hamidon, I'd of expected there to have been at least one Perma-Elude raid (back when you could perma it of course) or a Vengeance Stacking one in the US (again, before that was changed).
