Currently leading on german server with 44.7, most others 41-42ish. How about union? i bet theres a lot of 45s already?
The highest yesterday was 42 so I reckon must be a few 43's about now.

I was keeping an eye on the search list and 'Debt Collector' seemed to be the first lvl 42 around 19.00.
I'm expecting to see 44's and possibly 45's when I log on tonight.
My original estimate for a 50 was late Sunday but I suspect people will be grinding like mad over the weekend so could well see one late Saturday/early Sunday.
On a personal not, I think mines going to be about two weeks off. Wish I was unemployed/a student 
seen alot of 42s myself so far but thats it so far i expect that to change tonight tho now people are getting used to grandvill and the changes to teh AVs
sad thign is im still only 40 hopeing to change that as soon as the servers go back up

i know several ppl are 42 as of now.. i dinged 42 about 11 am and will most likely be 43 before i midnight.. tho i should remind all its a long way to 50, and most (i reckon 90%) that seems strong at this point will drop up to lvl 45, where only the most intense can keep up.. looking in team-search isnt the best way tho.. since most lvl-leaders usually plays in hide to avoid team-requests and other chatts...
even tho i was in top-5 to reach 40, i can say i wont be for 50.. im one of the few computer-geeks that like sports.. and tomorrow and 1 month ahead ill be whatching 2 games every day and loosing alotof good XP-time lol (yes, im talking about football WC)

Edit: i must say im impressed of 44.7 (unless u getting 'Help' from hero-friends) that is twice the XP im doing, or time =P guess i have to tell my GF im not so insane after ll.. ther are thoose that are alot worse

Solo, SS/Inv Brute. I got slowed down quite a bit by collecting mayhem exploration badges on lower levels (needed to ask ppl for help), now i got some problems with new contacts (41-45 cant get accomplishment badges), but support will hopefully solve this problem this afternoon.
anyway i plan to go to sleep with like 46.5, +- 0.5 levels.

You're actually faster than you think. Synaesthetix and I went to sleep around 8AM, and ran a quick search before we went - you were already 42 then.
I'm pretty sure, as said earlier in the thread, Debt Collector was the first to 42 - I was teamed with him, and we kept searching just to see where people were during quiet moments. There didn't seem to be another 42 for a while after him. Seemed like most of the highest-levelled players were Brutes - I felt pretty lonely as a Corruptor at 41 and 42 for a while, but saw some others start to catch up with me after a while. Anyone seen any Doms, yet?

I didn't say it's a standard schedule, it's just the way I survive my exam periods :P
And I know I'm in the minority, just pointing out that some studies DO require a lot of work

I would of hit 43 @ about 5 am this morning if i hadnt had to leave at 3 am for work. The lag that hit the game tonight really destroyed the fun in the game so i had to leave the game after a hours worth of game play tonight 
I'll pick up where i left of tomorrow evening . But like other have said I cant rush to 50 i have too many other things i have to attend to

No idea how you've kept that rate up, but well done! I've not heard of another 50 yet. Union doesn't even have a 45, as far as I know... but then, we had some really crippling lag for hours yesterday. I know Synaesthetix and I stopped for a while because of it, and it slowed us down even when we did keep going. I know other people who signed off thanks to it, too.
teamed with 2 lvl 40 Dom m8's for most of last night and this morning 1 is inches from lvl 41 not sure about the other

to solo 40-50 in that time span is impossible unless u played solid, never coming off the game

somehow thats very true
btw: im pretty sure solo is the fastest way to go for a brute. teams will always slow you down in some way, as well as you wont find a good team all the time.
I was soloing from 40-50 (well, actually from 1-50), SS/Inv brute. at lvl49 i was doing like 1 bar in 20-30mins.
that is, doing paper missions for levling only. i did a couple of story misions too (ghost widow, mage hunter), but when dr forrester didnt want to give my any missions at 45 i got upset (i spend a couple of hours waiting for support from GM, cleaning old story arcs and such, but still didnt have the chance to get the badge from forrester ), put story aside and just did paper missions to get to 50.
It takes a certain kind of crazy to do that!

If I had the time im sure I would have attempted it - I mean come on, the first 50 in CoV - can only be one winner and forever written in cov forklore/history.
However, from my own experience I know its the journey that matters more and am in no rush to get my villain to 50. Big grats especially since you allowed me to win my first lv 50 villain prediction/bet .
P.S. On a hot streak at the mo with most my bets/predictions being pretty close to the mark for example predicted I7 release a day out - England for the world cup .
