Peacebringers for PvP - Can it be done?

So I have recently started PvPing with my humanform PB and found out that although it isn't slotted for PvP, nor did I take powers for PvP, it is quite good. So i've sat down and started thinking. This is my build so far - rememebr it's a respec build, so slotting can come either way.

You can tell this is more or less fitted for sirens and warburg, but there are a few areas in which i'm not sure i've made the right decision, such as the 32-44 powers (should I take tactics later?), but there is this one thing of choosing between Combat Jumping(no immobilizes) and Super Speed(so I can chase and be chased).

Thoughts of slots and powers I don't really need?

Liked it alot, I'm no expert on epic archetypes but this is what I would change:

- try to fit in both light nova AND white dwarf, inherent flight is one of the best travel powers for PvP, nice and safe.

- Try not to pick both hurdle and swift, only go for one then go for health, then stamina.

Apart from that, good job, keep it up and i hope that this peacebringer grows to a success.

Psst, Peacebringers have inherent flight at level 1 already. I have no idea on the precise end-drain or speed of it though.

But that is one of the many reasons why I prefer Warshades. They get a different travel power at level 6 if they go the Dark Nova-way.

I've been thinking Quantum Flight could be very nice for PvP if you could spare some slots for it so you could phase in and out pretty frequently. 3 recharges and maybe 1 or two reductions, together with Hasten which you already have.

I've quite enjoyed my PvP time with Sundae but the age old problem - no mez protection - makes it hard to get into a standing fight with anything. I can go one on one with a Brute and probably win if I keep popping breakfree's. Without them I just get stunned by energy melee or nearby corruptors or etc..

Sneaky tactics seem best for me - drop behind something with no mez protection or already half dead and hit IS and then finish them off. To that end I might suggest you'd be better off with SS rather than combat jumping. Dwarf will give you immob protection if you need it (switch, tp next to foe, back to human and IS them).

Just my 2p worth.

I'd go for CJ+hurdle like you do for that nice unsurpressed travel power. If you want to chase, just use the tp from dwarf, as it can keep up with bout anything. What i would suggest though, is that you slot each attack (especially the dwarf one) with 2 acc slots. After all, your base acc is lowered to 50%, combined with acc debuffs and def buffs going all around, you'll have a hard time hitting stuff with only 1 acc SO in attacks.

Also I would try to fit in tactics pre-30 if you want to use it in sirens to scout for those pesky stalkers. Also im not really sure why you picked swift? As for travel you will have CJ+hurdle or inherent PB flight in human form and tp in dwarf form.

For the rest it looks pretty decent.

One of my SG mates uses his PB in Sierns a lot. He has a rep of over 50 so it can't be too bad.

The dwarf form is tops for taking damge, but normally relies on others to deal it.

well to be honset of the PBs ive fought alongside in pvp zones they seem to be one of the best AT for pvp your build looks very effective and could be possible solo in pvp WATCH OUT FOR STALKERS!

whats the differance between combat flight and energy flight

Energy Flight is normal 'Fly', Combat Flight is normal 'Hover'. And why don't we get Air Supiriority?

Anyway, I have respec'd and it turned out to be a complete success. Got killed a few times, but only when got AS'd (it is unresistable in dwarf and light form) or ambushed by 4+ villains. I totaly rock :P

Was there ever any doubt about that?

There is a minus fly on one of the melee attacks Incandescent Strike or the other strike IIRC

-fly on the Incandesant strike indeed, and on the White Dwarf Strike.

sorry bout that it was some weird lag thing made me do a triple post unfornatly i cant delete the extra 2

inc strike is a hold isnt it? anyway, dwarf is great in pvp, till somebody comes along and spams slows on you... thats the time where you go ouch

Quantum flight will suck your end dry and i'll tell you why .. its a power that as long as its active it uses more and more end the longer its on so 1-2 end reduxs will not cut it.

As far as I can tell it has got 40 seconds or so of fixed endurance cost, after that it starts to skyrocket. But even those 40 seconds are pretty expensive, which is why I was suggesting the endurance reductions. With 3 recharges and Hasten it's up almost every 20 seconds.
