Absolute positioning can be annoying sometimes. You can use Auto margins in CSS instead (with an IE fix thrown in...)
Here's how I do it on all my sites :

Well we're starting an SG which will need a site, and that will all be PHP I think (I have a few ideas), but the Marvellous' site will always be flash. It's just too big a job to do both. It's not out of the realms of possibiity though. None of the content is stored in the movies, it's all loaded in.

I'm running Kerio Pro firewall. It has a really nice ad blocker in it so you can view sites, with flash installed and not worry about banner ads. It works most of the time for me. Or you can install it on a 3rd party browser, that usually works ok too.
I really do think that you miss out on so much of the net if you don't have flash installed now. I know some don't like it, but it is quickly the way that the internet is going.

I've never noticed it missing in the 6 years I've been a website developer, except in the cases of side ads and occasionally swish introscreens for sites.

I did Director & Flash in college 8 years ago or so. They still haven't overthrown html in the slightest and are unlikely too, especially since they are licenced software. Much cheaper, development-wise, to bung up a Fedora server, throw on Apache / Tomcat, MySQL and code pages in text on notepad / vi (or jedit in my case) and do it that way.
And now with AJAX becoming a reality one of the main advantages Flash has over Html: not being limited to the request/response model, has been eliminated.
I like a good Flash site. Hell I like a good site regardless of how its made. But its been so abused in use in site ads and the like I really don't want to install it any more and I think this counts against it.
I agree with Carnifax, I don't like "full" flash sites at all for lots of reasons and I don't think it'll ever be the way the internet goes whilst people can create fab sites like these in CSS/XHTML. And some of the AJAX stuff I've seen really is v.v.cool.
But that's another subject entirely, and not to knock your work at all, it's a fab looking site and it works really well - the only slight beef I have is that I found some of the white text quite hard to read (maybe a little too small?) - have you considered using a font like Silkscreen if you want small text?

I've also downloaded that font. Very nice. Decided to use Arial though and make the point size 12 and the writing white (0xffffff) and more solid. Hope that helps a little.

Actually, my Blapper isn't "paired" with any of 'cel's toons, so you're safe there. 
You'd only have to worry about... *strains memory* Claws/SR (45) & Emp/En (50), AR/Dev (50) & Ill/Rad (34), and Mind/Kin (25) & Earth/Storm (25), on Union anyway.

I always think just making a flash site is a bad idea. There should be a html link to a basic html version too for us non-Macromedia types.
Why don't I have macromedia installed? Simple. Mostly its used for moving ads on sites and I don't want to see them. Flash = Spam mostly as far as I'm concerned.
