I think we need to find a better way for people to declare interest in PvP events before we signup for more, PvP is not everyone's cup of tea so I think now the novelty of Raiding is wearing off (to be replaced with gripes about how impossible it is to defend 
) we may find it tougher to get enough bods for these events.
ANYWAY....
That aside I shall see you guys online tonight - that second SF got delayed the other day due to a technical issue with our usualy quick respec.
Anyone therefore want to sign up for SF2 this evening (the Leviathan one)?
also, as i'm going away for the weekend and this event is time limited, anyone want to help me do my 5 snaptooth missions so i can go away safe in the knowledge i have the badge? =)

morning all, Logged on briefly last night and i got a pop up saying you have been invited to Union Leaders chat, i clicked ok. but i havent heard of this before,what is it? and the tab isnt there above the chat window either for it....am confused. 
well anyway not going to be back on till sunday as work unfortunatly takes precedence over CoV. (for some reason, i forget what)

Union Leaders is a chat window organised by some of the SG leaders to help coordinate events etc. Not sure how/why you got invite but that's not a bad thing I'm in there somewhere I think but doesn't hurt to have more than one of us represented.
well i'm off to dublin now, but i think somone naughty changed the Motd. someone might want to look at that =)

I'm a little concerned about the current message of the day, which is - in my opinion - extremely juvenile. I had thought this SG was somewhat above such things.
It gives a pretty poor impression to those of us in the lower ranks that the leadership could not only allow this to be put up as message of the day, but allow it to remain there for so long.
Perhaps someone has been promoted who shouldn't have been?

yeah thats my fault. I got promoted and given invite rights however when I tried to invite an intended person I clicked on global (assuming thats what I needed to do) and it sent out invites to all my global friends 
Also I like to point out its not impossible to defend your base. Unfortuantly we decided to take on Art of War and are quite battered and bruised in doing so (think thats the politess way of saying it).

that doesn't sound too good , uhm but not having been on for a few days (due to work and partying commitments) I have no idea what the message was about, but if it's offended then I'm sure something can/will be done about it..., anyone clarify this? Even better clarify in game if poss...so any more raids planned?

i think what the problem was the permissions were set so almost anyone can change MoTD and VG description. i've had to change it back about 3 or 4 times so far, its becoming annoying

One may have noticed a marked fall-off on our presence around here at the minute.
Well, it's far from terminal, rest assured
It's simply the case that a few of our leaders are waiting with baited breath for i7 and have decided to return to CoH until the happy event occours. We still have a decent number of players around and so forth... honest
It seems, therefore, after some consultation with who was left and our dear leaders on CoH (Who promise they'll get me a Kronos Titan to sirens call... or i'll cry) that i'm nominally in charge (heaven help us)
So, first up, we succeeded in our 1st respec mission. There was a few early deaths as our non-optimal team established their roles, but things went swiftly after, and while we did suffer a few deaths at the thorn tree, victory was ours, in a respectable time, and respecs were had by all.
So, an update now.
Next sunday i am feeling we should hold another TF/respec.
My thoughts would maybe be do the second respec, but any other prefered by all i can organise.
Base is going well, our prestige gain rate is almost as high as before, as those who are on hiatus were mostly gathering infamy anyway. Our next purchase should be something big to boost our control. i think we need something along the lines of 800,000 more for this, so about a week and a half.
SG mode ;- could everyone under level 25 please run in SG mode. you can use your own colours, but it costs nothing to run it at thse levels. Over level 25 run whichever mode you need to, but i would suggest that if you need infamy come see me and i will provide for you.
Also, if you are level 37 or over it might be quicker just to state which SO's you are looking for and what origin, and seeing if we can sort you out from our mission drops, as thats quick and cheap.
Base raids: - We haven't quite the numbers atm to stage these, but watch this space
rambling and long, wasn't this? =) I can't wait until i7 when the real leaders come back so i can go back to being a lowly slug again ;p
