Was nice to log back in the other night and see how the SG has gone from strength to strength - i so wanna do a raid 
Unfortunately, no sooner had i logged back in than my old friend the mapserver error dropped by to say 'hi'.
I'm so sick of bulldog broadband! Grrr
So anyway, it really frustrates me and does make me feel like not bothering. So, the plan is, I'm going to be one of those sad people that could be on the adverts saying "i just found the quality of service at BT so much better than cheaper providers..." sad, but true.
So, i think i'm gonna switch ISP, which should remove my mapserver problem and leave me free to enjoy the game again.
apologies for my extended absence. Once ISP is sorted you'll have to put up with me all over again.
Of course by then I'll have forgotten how much ED annoyed me and i'll have to start moaning all over again 
So, all being well I'll be spending a bit more time in-game.
(with any luck I'll convince Lady Doom to switch ISP too)

First up - big welcome home to Scarlet and Lady Doom. Nice to have you back with us guys.
Also a welcome to our new recruits from over the weekend. Once again the SG is now full (maybe 2 spaces I think...)
Busy weekend for us, HUGE amount of prestige earnt guys well done, bit dissappointing that we needed 1.5 to place the gen rather than 1. My bad there but we're now only 150k away or so I think!
Lets see I know I did respec 3 times, 1st SF and SG SF so not a bad couple of days work...
Apologies to Art of War for not having enough for an arena event with them. Any idea how we could setup a way to register interest on the forums easily guys?

well i didn't play that much over the weekend as i was so severely hungover i couldnt manage more than a couple of hours at a time =)
so we'll have to do those nems another time =)
as for poor scarlet, i used to have that trouble when i played everquest many moons ago, but changing to bt did in fact fix my issues, so hopefully the same will prove true for you =)

Big news today......
Base:
At about 1am last night we took delivery of our new shiny generator.... the whole base positively throbs with power now... Its not exactly small mind but the 5000 Energy produced should keep us going for a while
Next up is more control. We can place advanced databases that create 1000 control a pop - they're a bargain too at a mere 1million prestige to place.... Bridger pls tell me you guys are reviewing costs... pls!! How about more missions on the SG Comp that have specific prestige rewards... Trial style and on completion the SG gets 1 mill prestige maybe?
Meantime I think we can now tweak the defenses a bit - check out this url guys and let me know what you think would be best (bear in mind we can only have 2 defensive items on our plot size)

Nicely put Jon, saved me from doing it far less politely. This is our thread, and that tone isnt welcome. We will attempt to field 12 players but if we cant then we cant. Im not sure that I will be around on Weds and we are already without Spark. If we cant make that many players then I *suggest* you simply match our numbers whatever they may be, even if this requires several events so everyone gets to take part.
On to more important matters, yay for new generator, I vote have 2 of those wonderful sappers. I shall attempt to decorate around it tonight. Ive been informed its very large, so lets hope I can balance the feng shui
Up for the respec and SF tonight for sure, despite hating respecs its all prestige.
Just a note to clear up peoples questions about the alt SG and its purpose
.we would ask that any toon that people wish to keep in the SG, but isnt currently or going to be earning prestige or taking part in SG events like raids and the like be moved to the alt SG. This means that we can keep the SG together but have room for lots of new blood in the main SG for earning the preciousssss prestige.

why was i not informed of this? We must have them immediately, i demand it
Must admit not all that impressed with base raiding so far, i can't say as it's been much fun. It's just way too hard to defend, as we saw the last time, when you materialise in the same place everytime. What annoyed me most was that our opposition were able to see me before the loading screen finished loading, meaning they could attack me for a few seconds before i was even aware. That and the fact you have to defend for a full HOUR if the raiders can be bothered just puts the nail in it for me. I shall of course still be available in any form to help defend our base, but i'm in no hurry to set up another raid.

Aye, we can indeed have improved sappers. I doubt we'd be able to run the elite sappers or indeed have the salvage for them, so improved is a sensible step up

Erm I just wondered what happened tonight? AOW were all ready and this is not the first time we have been let down. I don't understand? Please can someone let us know what happened as we are confused.

Well that was the 2nd time that we have had arranged a fight with you guys. and both times no show.
I spoke to several members of yoru SG of where they reported back saying they knew nothing of it. but according to a a post above it was said that you had been talking about it a lot within your own channles/methods/SG or whatever.
When we are all waisting time standing around for 30 mins waiting is not really fair after giving this much planning. it has to be said that your SG needs some organisation in planning or communication. as for one we certainly wont be arranging any fights with you in the near future.

Was contacted by a member of Art Of War at around 830 asking about a SG battle. Asked all members who where online at time and nobody seem to no about it i apoligised but as you can see by message above they are not happy sorry i could not do more guys 
Well i can only apologise for this, but i'm sure someone in the leadership will have more to say about it.
I knew about it, and had left my pocket D missions for it, but with none of our high levels showing up for it, well, no team.
It was certainly mentioned enough, you have my word on it. No idea why people weren't on, its been the lowest no of people on since i joined i think.
But these things do happen. Of course, if nothings ever gone wrong for your SG ever, then feel free to complain further
