Dark armor

Hey all,
i want ask from someone who his character is dark armor and katana how he slotted Dark armor and what powers (how many slots to each power etc.) he has. I realised that i made many mistakes in my defensive set (Dark armor)
Can someone help?

As a quick guideline, all your resist powers should be slotted 3 resist/2 end. Don't bother putting anything but the default slot in CoD. Slot your heal 3 Recharge and as many Ends as you can spare.

I've gone as per the questions reply basically.

3xdmg res 2xend redux in all 3 toggle armors.
The heal has 2xheal 2xrechrg
Death Shroud has 3xdmg 2xend 1xacc.
And soul xfr has nothing in it as I only picked it up yesterday when I hit 38.

Shout me @Dave in game if you want to chat and compare etc.

Soul Transfer is possibly the worst power in the game. Its a self rez that gains you aggro, and often doesn't rez you with full health...

Nah. Revive is much worse. Fire ST at the right time, and you'll have full health, full stamina, and enough time to toggle up and throw a few punches before anything can damage you.


DCUO and CO will never see my money. The Citygame will keep seeing my money for as long as I keep enjoying it

I would slot Dark regeneration 1xACC, 2xEnd, 3x Recharge ( I haven't got the last Recharge yet ) as it has to hit. Not everyone has Focussed Accuracy.... I also found it was pretty good even slotted 1xACC, 2xEND.


@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.

Yep F. Accuracy is a good power, but if i use Cloak Of Fear my acc is acc- and i need to slot is with at least 2 acc enhancements and still it miss some hits.

It also makes you totally invulnerable for long enough to raise your toggles. I've made worthwhile use of it both solo and on teams.

In particular, shortly after cracking a "scrapper pocket lint" joke about Awakens, I got faceplanted by diving into a big mob of Mother Mayhem's minions. I then proceeded to ST myself back to consciousness as the rest of the team got stuck in, saving the Empath's rez ability for someone who might actually need it.


DCUO and CO will never see my money. The Citygame will keep seeing my money for as long as I keep enjoying it

No it doesn't. I can normally get two or three off before the indestrucability gives out and everything starts attacking me. You might only have 2 or 3 toggles, but then your a poor /DA.

lets see, i run:

Dark Embrace
Murky Cloud
Obsidian Shield
Cloak of Darkness
Cloak of Fear
Death Shroud
Combat Jumping
Acrobatics
Super Speed
Focused Accuracy

And with a little Adjustment/Willingness, i could run (without being unreal, running whirlwind etc.)
Oppressive Gloom
Tough
Weave (not likely tho)
Sprint :P

which makes for 14 toggles, or 10 in daily use. I don't see myself toggling on 10 toggles in the time Debt Transfer gives you. :/

well, its actually only 10, as i generally won't/can't run the other 4, but really i just stand there looking cool

Thats part of the problem with the DA powerset 7 out of 9 poewers are toggles, 1 is a click, and the last one i'd rather not talk about. you don't see that anywhere else. Dark Armor needs a buff, like making obsidian shield a toggle thats perma-able with 3 SOs recharge, like PB from the SR set (would lead me from slotting 3 end 3 res to 3 rech 3 res)

btw, the slotting for these powers are as follows:

I used ST for the firt few times last night and only once did it cause me instant 2nd death.

It does to agro every thing even if it appears to be out of range.

But in all instances it helped the fights on the TF swing our way.

I hate managing clicks. Post-ED, I don't even fire Hasten unless I'm in serious trouble.

(I run seven toggles, tops, and I often don't run DS.)
