I think it's a great idea, but I think you should ditch Siren's and hold it in Warburg so hero teams can have a pop as well

Hey I'm not whining I'm just pointing out the very real fact that there is a class imbalance at the moment due to the fact that there are few Dominators in the game at the mo and fewer still who participate in PvP. The majority of those that do participate are the two major melee classes Brute and Stalker which does cause problems against a varied and experienced Hero Team. We get the odd Corruptor and MM about but those are relatively few in comparison. I met a very good Dominator last night, who I'm sure if can be convinced would prove to be a real problem to you guys in PvP but for some reason most are just not keen on the idea.

Also true that the villains dont work together as well as the heroes in team based play. Thats partly down to CoV being some peoples first experience with this game, Stalkers dominate the villain effort which is probably the least team orientated of the AT's and the time factor hasn't come about to allow some of the relationships to develop to build dedicated teams. Would be nice to see some strong sg incentives for PvP then it might create a bit more diversity and team orientation.

As for PvP speccing on the Villain side you are not likely to see a lot of it at present as a lot of villains are still levelling. What you need to remember is that a team like that is going to have a fairly easy time of it in PvP for a variety of reasons one of those is not that the players you will face are unskilled ot as you put it in your first language l33tm n00bs. It will be a while before we will get to see true AT diversity in Sirens and when it appears and when it does Im sure the challenge would be welcomed. No whine in that just fact.

I would realy love to be there, fighthing gimp trolers is allways fun

But , i cant need to go walk the dog at the exact time you and the other gimp trolers enter sirens!!

Expanding upon my two chosen tactics, and why I think they would be effective.

Mixed Corruptor team:- All with assault and tactics. Buff to the max, just in case. Fulcrum shift in a group of mobs to hit the damage cap. Engage only at snipe range. All on single target. Fire once and scarper.

Robot Mastermind plan:- All pets buffed. All pets initially targeting the same controller, with a plan of the order to take them down. Masterminds stay as far back as possble, ideally Phased/PFFed. Pets engage in a very close formation. MM don't engage until pets have recharged, so they can follow with an immediate second wave.

Number of pets in each wave: 56
Maximum number of targets affected by a single power = 16. Chance of all the controllers managing to debuff all the pets, including the nasty big robots = unlikely at best.

As I said, the Somme with robots.

Uh im sure they can when u split the team in half, kinda defeats the point Half the team goes to join their SG to fight the team makes no sense as the team you think you can take is no longer the same

Seriously I dont quite know what you are saying, as you were including (with other PDs) in this little escapade it makes your whole challanges moot, if you say you can batter a 8 person controller team chances are you could as finding one is nigh on impossible due to the spartan nature of the PVP zones. An 8 man controller team comprising of 8 people new to pvp would get hammered by any half organised team, and 8 man controller team with half new/half experienced players would still ahve a difficult time. The whole point was, as it still is, based upon the team we had at hand. If you want to challange yourself to a duel I can think of many people who would want to watch such a feat

Or, alternatively, a /Dark MM team - stacking 8 Darkest Nights (one for each 'troller) and 8 tar patches - and you have 8 Fearsome Stares/Petrifying Gazes as well, hypothetically speaking.

SB cancels anything that slow but would be interesting to see though. I guess it would come down to who holds who first but I think the trollers would win that in the long run

Well, the Slow Res in SB isn't enough to counteract 8 stacked Tar Patches - unless you've got 8/Kins; more than that though, and what I was considering more important, was the stacked -Res which would be devastating when combined with 56 pets wading in.

/petcom_all agg + BFs says that the 'trollers would need to do more than out-hold the MM team. Thankfully, most good Controllers are far more than just hold-bots.

It'd be an interesting one to watch, if nothing else.

I'd assume they'd all be using Fluffy, so we are talking about 16 Darkest Nights and Petrifying Gazes. If the Fluffies are used at point blank range, that is also 8 Chill of the Night Auras, which actually has a slightly higher Acc debuff than DN.

I stand corrected but like you said trollers do more then just hold. I think it would be an interesting matchup if nothing else. I sure would nuke some popcorn and watch the show

What would happen if team teleport was used to get away from the tar patches? then the -speed wouldn't really matter
