Task force team to do task forces in small chunks

OK, I can't stay on CoH long enough at a time to do a full task force/trial(? - these are sometimes timed so it might not work) so I would like to organise a team to do task forces in chunks, like about an hour or two hours at a time.

Now, the reason I'm asking here first is because a lot of people I've started a task force in game with want to do it all in one go, or when I ask if we can meet another time and do the rest, they quit, or someone decides they are going to do the whole TF whilst the rest of us are not there.

So, I'd like to organise a regular group of people who are perhaps in the same situation as me - I'd like a group of 8 people, really, who I can organise a TF and a time with, along with what days we can all do. It wouldn't be ideal to have to change the team for each TF, as then we would have to re-work times and dates and all that, and if it is the same team for a lot of the time, we can get to know each other and playstyles.

yeah good idea.. i often cant commit for many hours to complete a tf but still want to do some. Be happy to join as either tufty (lvl 37 dar/dark def) or Phyria (lvl 26 kat/da scrapper). the only problem is that you cant space the meeting times out very much (i.e. cudnt do half a tf one saturday and the next the following), well i say cant.. u cud but it may put people off as they wudnt be able to do anythin else other than street hunt until the tf was finished.

I wouldn't be thinking every Saturday, but more like a few weekday evenings, say from 8pm-9pm? And also, like I said, one of the reasons I asked here is so people would know what they were letting themselves in for

Most weekday evenings between 8 & 9 would be fine with me.

i'd probably have to give it a miss if its all gonna be done on weekdays, i could probably make it but i can never commit to anythin.

mondays tend to be fine, tuesdays are a no as i have the all-defender team to attend, weds generally ok, thurs not really.. normally watch threshold and lost, fridays meh, depends what i'm doin.

saturdays and sundays between like 12-3pm would suit me best.

Well, if we have a big group of people that want to do this, we could all organise say two team, a weekend one and a weekday one? Perhaps something like that. Mondays and Wednesdays would be fine with me, anyway, so depending on what other people want to do it would be a couple of days in the week and a bit at weekends...

I'd be up for this! I never have the time for full TFs.

My SG generally likes to split up our TFs over 2 evenings. It really does make them more enjoyable as you're not always trying to rush it to get it finished. If we don't have a full SG team we usually ask if anyone wants to join us in the Union Badgehunters global channel. You may find other team members there too.

I find it more enjoyable to do a TF over two evenings generally, most of the ones I organise for our SG are done like that. 3-4 hours is just too much for me in one sitting after a day in work, plus I like to have time to enjoy the story, not ghost missions etc

Whenever we have a space free in a TF I always put it in the union badgehunters channel to see if anyone wants to join us.

Edited to add: When you just click reply to the last person in the thread without actually bothering to read anything other than the first post, then realise you've virtually duplicated the post above you, it makes you look like a plonker. I must remember this in future

Count me in too. This is the only way I can do TFs without major hassle from the missus.
I'll happily come along with any of my alts.

Count me in aswell , love the taskforces but because of the long hours attached to it, I only ever did a couple.

Usually, thurdsay till sunday are fairly good for me, monday till wednesdy are a definate no for me.

I have alts 3-34 so can squeeze in where you want.

Having said I can do this, I'm working 3-11 all next week. Then I can do every week day evening for 4 weeks. I logon about 730pm and play for an hour or two.

But I can do an hour or two most mornings next week.

We starting from lvl1?

I wasn't acutlaly thinking of starting from level one, but we could use alts for some... if we don't, we can just do the TFs we can all do on mains...

Ah ok. I have alts from lvl 4-34, but the only TF my main has done is the 1st respec.

But I do have a fire tank @ 15 if we want to start at that lvl.

My Hero alts are all around level 6, IIRC, my main is 35.
