EK has been and always will be one of my best friends around so i not say any kind of goodbye to him. However the game and community will miss him for his character,ethics and will to help at any possible way. However i know he will ace his final uni year and thats more than a good reason to step away from all a bit. EK although i have you on msn and i know i wont miss ya a good luck and all the best is only appropriate here my friend.

Good luck to ya, EK - I'll always remember that last cpl missions during one of our trialists "trial"-period where your absolute disrespect for number of baddies facing you really shone through Bleedin' good fun it was.
I hope you come back ingame sometime in the future, but methinks you'll stay active in our forums....

Good and bad times we've experienced throughout the game, but I still hold you in high regard as a player (or playaaa ...fo schizzle!) and CoH friend.
Countless times I've seen you show acts of consideration and generosity (quite a lot of times I've exploited...how much inf do I owe you? :P).
A good leader amongst the heroes of Paragon City. Like you're namesake (Ether KNIGHT), you are noble and worthy of the title "hero". Your prescence was felt in the times when City of Heroes UK was still young and naive. You're someone who'll be remembered by the few (Beta and release date starters) who still remain here despite the inevitable goodbye.

Sad to see him go, one of the people I have teamed with for a very long time...... a nice person, a good sport and a good friend in the game.

Sorry to hear ur leaving EK, a truely decent person from all my encounters, TC helped me out a little when i transferred here back near release, and he's always ben there if i needed him for anything (not often mind ).
shame to see an active emmber of the communitybe off, but as TG says, Uni is teh important, i know, i woulda failed if i was playing this damned game : /.

A late addition to this post as I haven't been online in the Official forums for quite some time...
Very sad to hear EK has departed Paragon City...
My best memory was being invited (my God I really didn't understand the enormity of the team I was in). It was the first CoH Respec and little old me got invited into a team of 4, me, Ether Knight, Tainted Greek and I forget who the last was??? Help me out TG! It was a female character that you seemed to have a certain rappor with?
I was chuffed at the time but only now do I fully realise what a great honour it was to have actually had a team with you both.
TG and EK were great to me and always helped me out when possible...a pair of true gentlemen
I hope TG can pass on my regards...you will be sadly missed !

Well just yesterday Ether Knight decided he was not renewing his account. A sad time indeed and Im sure anyone who knew him or teamed with him willl feel his loss. As a popular defiant member I just wanted to let those of you who were not aware of his departure.
He gave his reasons for finally quitting over on The Contingency boards and we can only wish him well. Im sure many of you wish him well as we in The Last Stand and The Contingency do.
So even though I already said it in our base all the best EK and thanks alot for all your help. Thankfully some of us will get to keep in touch with you.
