D, I don't know how many of the other Alt Rangers play regularly (because <cough> I don't, as Shafty) but I'd have no problems at all about moving him into another SG.
Pity there wasn't some kind of coalition coalition - then there could be a 'main' coaltion and an alts coalition!
Maybe if we got every member of the coalition to send a message (okay signing a single petition would probably be preferred by the receiving parties, but you get the idea) to Statesman and co? More space is needed! The people have spoken! Ooh, with the new banner protest emote thing, we could all gather under Atlas and send a screenshot as well

Simple thing would be to have a few more SG spots in a coalition. I think that SGs live or die, to a certain extent, by successful coalitions...
Protest sounds fun though.

That would only account for 120 characters at most - I'm sure there's at least 30 of us

No I think there are loads of us out there. I'd say that there are about 100 players minimum in the coalition... I have about 20 different people who Doulos regularly teams with, all different players...

Given bases, prestige ect (going from memory) the list of coalition SG's currently linked to the P-Rangers, the 'Alt-Rangers' SG is the weakest link so to speak and would be the first for the chop.
Unless and this is dicey, Team GBH merged with Armoured Core and the Overlords merged with SNHS (I believe the scrapper + controller sg's to be the least active in terms of different players?).
Not a move I'd like tho as I'd prefer for the Alt Rangers and then a mixed SG to be dropped ahead of these.
Having the game allow more SG's in coalition would be really nice tho

I filled all 12 slots on union and still have 4 free slots on defiant.
I think that the Alt Rangers needs to be disbanded and it's members absorbed into the Precision Rangers - that way any prestige earned goes to the mother SG.
The rad rangers could join the SNHS and have a rank called Rad Ranger
The Armoured Core is about 25 - 30 members strong, i would say that about 5 of them haven't played in over a month and about 10 are alts of the Rangers. ED hit tanks hard 
As long as Mr Cuddles is happy I wouldn't mind if they were absorbed into the Union Overlords (good synergy between tanks and controllers) and maybe rename the SG something like The Armoured Overlords.
We have alot of regular hard core players and the main disadvantage currently is that we are too spread out and can't combine our prestige - if we almagamated some of the SGs then we could get bigger SG bases alot quicker. The thing is that we are effectively one SG split into 5 seperate ones.
BTW do the Scrappolowhatevers add any value to the coalition? If any SG is dropped they should be the first to go

Tanks were hit bad by i5, i6, ED. Toerag is semi-retired, but we need tanks. The Armoured Core should stay as a unit. We rul(ed

The Alt Rangers were great fun, but I don't like Shaggy much (Bow just isn't a blasting tool in my book - too slow).
So I would be happiest to lose the Alts - they haven't really served their purpose. The last time we played the Alts was when Shafty and I were promoted. There were only 3 on the task force, and it seems people have had enough of the concept. "Rifing" should go into the dictionary, though .

We're about to do some cleaning up in the Overlords since a few people in the coalition seem to have created troller alts and then just never played them. Will talk with the Inspector about it. I guess it would be OK to be merged although we do seem to be getting new recruits regularly at different levels. Will check the numbers. Am happy to take my own low-level alts out of other 1ATSGs if we want to free up slots or consolidate.

I have no objection knocking the Alt Rangers on the head as interesting but failed, experiment, however, I would like to keep Broadhead going as a mid teen alt.
If there is space in the Rangers, I'd like her to join, if not, I'll keep her as an independent for ad-hoc teaming.

Im not the leader of team GBH but every1 knows in the coalition knows that were probably the weakest SG in terms of regular players as theres only about 7-8 regular players.
So if u really need space for anotha SG in the coalition then im sure the regular members of team GBH will gladly merge with another SG in the 1 AT coalition.

It would be fine with me if the Alt Rangers were dropped from the coalition. I haven't played Alpha Shock for some time.
I think it would be a tragedy if any of the 1AT SG's were booted. In my view those 5, plus possibly a kheldian one, are the core of the idea. Rad Rangers, Alt Rangers and so on are fun, but not essential. Alt Rangers for the boot!

Damn that kind of rings true. I know there are some of us with alts in 3 or 4 of a coalitions.
It would be interesting if they mad it so you could chat across all of the SGs which are coalitioned to the SG's that your SG is in. So like a big forest kind of chat. Almost like global, but not quite.
But I also think that as the number of toon slots went to 12, they should increase the number of SG coalition slots.
Well it seems the people speak, I agree with toerag, the 1ATs (including the khelds) are the nexus upon which all is build. The alt Rangers look to be going bye bye from the coalition so people either keep em on, or do what I plan to do, transfer influence. It also looks, from the lack of an opinion from the "other" all scrapper group and comments made today at the con that they might/should loose a spot too. New blood rebellion definitely stay as they rock. And the Rads will take the Alts slot...
Right, we need to look carefully at this, The P-Rangers currently have a full in take of coalitions available to them, so inorder to coalize with the khelds and the RadRangers there are going to have to be some tough decisions made. The origonal vision was for 1 SG of each AT but this has clearly changed in dynamic.
I would not consider asking people from the multi AT SGs to quit and join the relevant 1 AT SG as that would just be bang out of order and you guys have spent time making your SGs what they are.
I would be interested to see how many of the Alt Rangers regularily play, could we include those who have a future in the precision rangers and then close the group down to be replaced by the RadRangers?
We need to work out a future on this because there are so many great players enjoying the benefits of this mighty coalition system we have going?
I really would love to get peoples feedback and ideas because it would be great to have all 700 slots in the coaltion full of players/alts who can support eachother and tap into the abilities that each of us bring.
I would especially ask SG leaders/founders their opinions. We can have 8 coalitions per group which means 8 SGs all making a network and talking to each other.
I'm just trying to make it more effective, please help me.
