I don't know if it's always the case, but the beach around the back of the starting point "base" seemed rather empty when I went down. There is a potential mission door down there though, so it might receive a fair bit of low level traffic. Although, this could be seen as both a good and a bad thing...
theres a rock just off the coast which has no mobs on. it has some flat spots and a nice view, would be very nice and very safe as a villain roleplaying spot.

Anywhere is good - there's some fight pit type things to the west of the island on the way down to the port oakes ferry.
You know, this is a little something that has always interested me. What exactly would be required of me to become involved, as you seem to have a great group of people and some fun times as i've read from your previous thread in the heroes section. And to be honest, if i was to get involved in RP, i'd prefer to be evil as it has so much more to offer /em cackle

So far, we haven't bothered.
There is an OOC "RP Organisation SG" out there called The Concordat. You need to find one of the members and I don't have a member list handy to post. If you happen to see Lilith Pendragon about, that's me, I could invite you, but I won't because I'm Evil! 
My problem with a GG-style meeting in CoV is that I fail to see the rationale behind it. With GG, heroes are (theoretically) meeting to let off steam, find out what's happening in the hero community, stuff like that. If the villains got together to let off steam... we should use the Arena. And it's more likely you'd be giving disinformation to your enemies than sharing intelligence.
IMHO, villain roleplay will rapidly turn into either an enormous angst-fest, or an enormous contest to see who can come up with the most sick/perverted/psycho character without getting banned.
If someone can come up with a reason why two dozen people who all want to take over the world for themselves would get together to discuss the latest gossip on who Lord Recluse is sleeping with... then I'm in. Otherwise... CoV is just a computer game.

Looks like the Supervillains will never get their role-play started, as they are too factious to even decide where to meet.

I keep thinking that the RP supergroups in heroes/villains should start joining up in coalitions- might make for more active and fun RP throughout the cities rather than just one spot!

I agree with that, but im still holding on to a hope and i just refuse to play the game with out it, Did i read it wrong or do you have a Sg for roleplayers thats more like a giant friends list? Simply meaning you can find roleplayers with ease? If so then that, to me anyway seems like a strong idea, and was the one thing i was going to surgest, If thats not what you ment then can every body please read above
I took a chance on my first real day of real Cov play and send out a broadcast just asking if there were any roleplayers on...
I got lucky and had a great few hours so a big thanks to all who joined Loco and Mr Rigsby
Keep an eye out for Grave Mistress or Crimson Fox too mate. We can invite you to the Concordat SG aw well, and we're planning to RP as much as possible throughout CoV.
