Screaming Skull - Corruptor - Ice/Kin

Ming the Merciless stands on a balcony overlooking the Alchemical Laboratory in a deep cavern spread out before him. “So have you had any orders in yet?”

The grim visage of his EVIL ally Screaming Skull turns to him. If he could raise an eyebrow then he would, instead the red bone of his face radiates surprise. “I am going to the ball to secure orders, there will no doubt be those of a magical persuasion who require arcane wares.”

Ming looks over the product labels somewhat doubtfully. “Hmmm…Potions of Pulverising, Amulets of Adversity, Wands of Wickedness…..well I am sure they will mean something to those who have an interest in such things.”

“Will we be seeing any fruits of your research Ming?” Ming shakes his head. “Indeed not, some of my research is for EVIL alone, but never outsiders.”

The shadows of Screaming Skulls hood play over his face as he considers this. “I am somewhat inclined that way myself. But all my products have shall we say, a little something that may be of use to us when dealing with our clients at a later date.”

Ming smiles “You mean…..?”

“Some are addictive; others allow me to spy on the individual using them.” Screaming Skulls own face breaks out into a ghastly smile.

Their maniacal laughter echoes around the subterranean hall.

Not sure this is roleplaying "American style". I was on CoH when it came out in the States and their unofficial RP servers were much better than our unofficial European ones.

Alot more people on who were Rpers and far more events and cross team RP activity.

And I played at times when the server had a low population.

I assume this is Union?
Times? Level restriction?

If you look closely at any story or background you will find discrepancies. Thousands of them.
It’s our job as Rpers to help mask over the cracks. We are the actors in the story, we don’t keep saying to camera, “You know that’s implausible”.

You will see in the forums people coming up with explanations for oddities, or techniques like “just ignore it”. In a sense we write the story with the author.

Oh and those discrepancies. You might even find a few in RL. And if you can find them there don’t blame the writer who has a few in his. :-)

STOPPING THE "RECLAIMING" OF SIREN’S CALL 14 DEC 05


Background:

A secret message had been intercepted which showed once again how the “heroes” of Paragon City shroud their attempts to make territorial gains in terms of liberty, honour and justice. Siren’s Call is not part of the Paragon Empire yet its heroes covert it from comfort of their already luxurious Team Headquarters.


Mission Objective:

Thrash any Heroes foolhardy enough to follow that overblown braggart Rockjaw into Siren’s Call in an effort to axe that region for Statesman’s cronies.


Mission Debriefing:

Our team of EVIL operatives forged out with a task force from Lord Recluse’s base, lead by Crater and pushed back the hapless heroes of Paragon in a frenzy of violence. I am proud to say that the spandex toy soldiers of Statesman littered our route.

The degree of our success must have alarmed the heroes of Paragon as they began to appear in Siren’s Call in unprecedented numbers. Even their most lazy, couch potato Super Team members got of their spandex covered backsides and came to join Statesman’s legitimised land grab.

There was not one Super Villain in Siren’s Call that evening without the heart of a warrior, but this vast out numbering of our forces proved too much even for so stalwart a band of villains.

Retreating to our base we managed to hold of to the last and Statesman’s stooges had to return empty handed to Paragon, Siren’s call still a region free of his star strangling control.

Do you guys think your aoe holds are good enough? I have noticed that Corruptors nukes really need an aoe hold. These powers were designed with Controllers in mind, are Dominators up to the job?

((We rarely have equally matched pvp, but the flow of that is not a problem unless one side has too many extra people for too long. Come on Heroes, stop answering your CoH SG call and come join us!

The PvP setup means we won’t solve the imbalance problem, if you want balance try WoW, and be prepared to wait 4 hours before you can play in a pvp zone. Also just noticed Stryker is 50, so need to do some training ))

I see my nemesis Stryker has posted his photo on this Hero website. The vain fool, this will only make it easier for I, the Screaming Skull to track you down!

I have submitted my illustrious image to strike fear into all your hearts on a nearby villain website. But the vagaries of a web administration not directly controlled by my Lord Recluse may mean it takes some time to appear.

I hope to give you all a warm welcome in Sirens Call in the near future.

We seem to lack rpers in both CoH and CoV. Anyhting that brings us together has to be good.

Looks like the Supervillains will never get their role-play started, as they are too factious to even decide where to meet.

There an Icon for Villains?

I see PenDragon has started his SG thread and no responses. As I don't want to set up a separate rp SG thread can peeps post on there?
Also can we get some rp Villain SG started, Villains need rp too!

How important is it? In the arena even Hover has an advantage against a Melee type.
