Wednesday night action! (with further plot....)

Okay, there's going to be a mini-confrontation Wednesday night as part of the plot I'm running. Anyone who thinks their characters may be getting involved, can they please compile some stats for me?

Basically, everyone will have the following Attributes:

Strength, Agility, Stamina, Perception, Mind, and Willpower.

Rank each one of these as you see fit from the following scale:

Superb
Great
Good
Fair
Mediocre
Poor
Terrible

Then pick any skills you feel your character has (the more specific a skill is, the more generous I'll be with how well you can do things. ie: Great Melee Combat is better than Fair Melee Combat, but not as good for swordplay as being a Great Swordsman), and select a level of competence from above.

Finally, pick what powers or other abilities your character has that wouldn't fit into a scale of the sort listed above.

I'll handle all the rest.

Magic: Illusions (all senses), ritual effects, and some quickfire battle magic.

Gear:
Bow, arrows
Sword
Kevlar jacket.

Superhuman reflexes and speed. Superior (technically not superhuman, but certainly extraordinary for a woman of her size and physical build) strength and stamina.
Alien physiology makes her immune to all human diseases and some poisons.
Magical Arrows: that she makes herself imbuing spells (stun, explosive, fire, etc).
Magical Devices: also build by herself, to aid her crimefighting (web-grenades, discriminative caltrops, seven league stride boots, etc).
Spellcasting: knows a limited number of spells that mostly affect herself alone (fly, camouflage, etc) as well as some powerful ice magic.

Gear:
Bow, arrows and devices in a dimensional portable pocket. Red chain mail bikini top and chitin-like armor covering her legs. Cellphone, gameboy and some junk.

Oh, and people wishing to take part should go to www.mirc.com and download mIRC, it's a free IRC program.

I'll be using it to run the adventure/mission thing, since it'll be easier to look up stats for everything than if I have to alt-tab out of CoH.

Yes, this means I won't be in-game Wednesday at all. This is my first time running something over IRC, I won't be able to switch between the two.

Good luck with it Wordy. If I can offer a little advice, open another notepad next to your main window and have all your 'boxed text' ready for cut/pasting.

You'd be surprised how much a typo can really jar the atmosphere.

Matter manipulation: Allows the host to shift form, though this particlur hos uses it become in tangable and invisable. personal and group flight are also affected thorough this power.

Cosmic Balance: the team around the host feeds the abilitys, improving attack, damage resistance and restance against holds that aren't physical impedaments (fear, disorent, blind etc)


Special: is very vunerable to Quantum Array weapons.

Gear:
Standard Clothes.
Satalite Phone/PDA.
Pocket Knife.
Wind proof lighter.
Fine point marker pen.

Okay, for tonight, I'm hoping to get started sometime around 7, if that's possible for everyone. Just a few details:

Log on to Random EU Undernet for the server.

I -have- to get this done in one night, because of RL commitments, etc. So, if a player takes too long to respond to something or say what they're doing, I'll have something bad happen to their character. Not "death" bad, but definitely severe injury/put out of commission bad. Sorry, but I've no idea how long this may take, so I need to get it done.

Also, at about half eleven, if it looks like the encounter isn't near completion, I'll make something really big and bad happen, since what Riegan is doing isn't all smiles and roses, and will have definite consequences.

Any questions?

And I still need stats from everyone else...

Dead Banter - Can freely talk with spirits and corpses.
Deathly Vision - Can see things related to death and necromancy.
Unlife - Is a zombie, her body a shell for her spirit trapped inside.
Life for Unlife - If her shell is damaged beyond repair, she can take the life energy of someone nearby dying to repair herself.
Dark Transit - The magics that gave her unlife will move her damaged shell after a week with no life energy present to somewhere else.

She is Superb with a katana, he has Great Martial Arts, but can also add dark energy damage to his blows.

They are both magicians, he specialises in necromancy, she's better in demonology.

And you can assume he knows everything and she knows almost everything.
