True, in the arena, fliers had an advantage, but I think in open PvP things will be a bit different. I guess we'll just have to wait until a bunch of villains get to 14 to find out

Every person who likes doing PvP should have atleast 1 unsupressed travelpower. The best one is prolly 3 slotted hurdle and combat jump. Whirlwind is also very nice to have because it gives unrooted attacks. That means you can move while shooting .
Fly is also very good if your a squishie, the problem is getting hover fast enough with ED for fighting cause you cant fight with the huge end drain from fly and it gets suppressed. I would suppose people with AM can do it and kins but im not sure siphon speed increases fly speed.

Fly and hover are very good to have, especially when you don't know what you might be facing. Kheldians both have a flying travel form and it can be hard to get them if you have no ranged attack.
Personally I like fly+hover+arial attack, means I get up there and knock em down.
TP is so far unserpressed so probably best overall travel power, TP and Hover are very good.
fly is good but if ur low anove to attck some 1 a sj can get u (i now i do it with my brute draycon) and being in the air u stand so rangers (and me) will attack u.
In PvP Siphon Speed in the Kinetics pool isn't suppressed, and it's -speed and -recharge!

Fly is very good i have it,its very good to make escapes in and scout around its also a very safe and easy way to get around:P

Most people will ahve some way to counter fly but it's great for ambushing and escaping or just getting a better vantage point to snipe from. However, there are a lot of -fly attacks about, there's one warshade attack that last for freakin' ever and air superiority sucks when it smashes you into the floor. Also, if you have fly, don't fight Chives.
i shoot down flyers like mosquitos with storm set 
How important is it? In the arena even Hover has an advantage against a Melee type.
