If were talking eight man teams, eight Corruptors all able too buff each other would be able to whip up some seriously scary DPS.
The most destructive has to be pvp whiners..since they win by at least me leaving the zone.

As a single unit most destructive AT is the Robotics/Mastermind combo.....past 32 a total insanity....forget blasters scrappers etc...what u ll see will blow u away...

man is true! i know brutes are all about SMASH! etc and they got high damage but when we talk about Demolition squads we talk about Bots....DEMOLSH!!!!!
Single character, hmm over time scrapper, single attacks Blaster.
Depends on whether or not you use pets or build up powers for your calculations. Brutes Rage when fully charged gives good results, as does defiance. And pets for some ATs make AT very nasty. However its a bit too broad a question, you'd have to narrow it down a bit, I mean if you discount pets then MM is worst be long way.
Discount build up powers (defiance, rage, etc) then that would probably scratch blasters and brutes.
Plus the best PvPer is not just about damage, its actually a trinary of ideas.
One corner is offence, next corner is deffence last corner is awareness. You need all to be succesful in PvP. Miss one out and you rapidly become ganked!

Alas, the Mastermind is not currently reaching its full potential due to the bug that means all powers gained from upgrades (Like Equip Robot and Upgrade Robot) do not take into account any enhancement slotting. Hopefully it'll be patched soon, then a fair comparison can be made.
That said, what a Mastermind can do that no other AT can match is split our fire amongst multiple targets. Priceless for tanking.

hmm, so my idea for a complete mastermind sg on defiant is a good one? the master-army, all at level 50 in siren, with every robot summoned, all with 2 upgrades.. yeah

yeah you will perma crash from lag lol....u do know thats 8MMx6 pets=48 pets minimum a total of 56 people ......thats a mini hami raid...now picture in this mobs for 8 people...yeah u get the idea...also for PvE MM's are true wonders but for PvP hmmmm well things get complicated...

What lag? Target Hami, get away to max range (160ish yards), then send in the henchmen Fight takes place without you needing to be in range!
Dominators, a few dominators will crack through ANYTHING if they all slap on domination and start spamming holds everywhere. Throw in the buffed damage and foom, untimate anti-anything machine. (If a bit fragile)

I'd like to see MMs or any villains somehow enter The Hive. Of course, you may not really be talking about fighting Hamidon with Villains, just referring to the potential. In such a scenario, if I was Hamidon, I'd target the MMs not the pets.

[/ QUOTE ]Blaster bah Stalkers can if cleverer enough can take a blaster defender down in seconds or even if buffed with 6 rad corruptors could and self build up single hit a scrapper defender cont blaster and almost a tanker very devastating.Considering that could also use some red's and 1 hit a poor tanker like that

I watched Greek in beta and no I can't agree that Robot Masterminds are the most destructive, the starting robots being something like -3 below the pace in high levels causes them to be of very little use indeed. I think the Mastermind's tactic is to mass tickle something to death.
The most devastating still has to be Blaster, a Blaster, Ice/Energy to be specific. I can imagine some Brute/Stalker/Scrapper classes might come close, close but no cigar.

I don't think Masterminds are that great for PvP either. For a start, whereas the PvE enemies are likely to whack your pets rather than you, a human controlled player is going to go STRAIGHT for the MM controlling all the pets. Sure, you've got 6 pets, but really it doesn't take that long for a well organized team to total all the MMs in a team.

You can`t say one Archtype is best for PvP because while a Scrapper is extreme in some situations he is [censored] in another. Same goes for every archtype . Everyone has some sort of weaknesses and it`s up to you to place your hero in the best situation possible.
i never said PvP for MM....but a Bots/FF sure is demolish squad when it comes to missioning due to the wide spray fire..and i not think is a tickle but still if we talk sheer damage numbers yeah i ll vote for corruptors as well

Controller, i reckon they will rule supreme out of CoH and CoV provided you take the correct, powersets, its the combination of control and buffs/debuffs which really give them the edge, aswell as the option of epic power pools for blasting damage (if they introduce higher level zones) Its either */rad, */storm, */trick arrow controllers which will own in PvP
Also */dark masterminds and */plant (poison? not sure of the name) due to the debuffs and the fact they have an army of offence, they could be possible effective....
Ooooo also don't forget the kinetic/energy defenders now they just pwn in PvP don't they
well if a controller is the best, then what about dominators? their like controllers, just with more damage, which must be worth something? anyway, i had a look in bloody bay on my energy/devices blaster, and good lord! i ran into a small group which included a mastermind. since i was at a point where knockback protection wasnt exactly available (and wont be for another 7 levels i dont think) they completely pwned me. they were robotics/ff mastermind, and i think a corruptor and someone else, not sure what they were, the the knockback made me lag real bad so i couldnt retaliate. the villains aint the evil thing in that place, its the lag. its eeeevvvviiiiillll.

and this is out of all of them, city of heroes and city of villains. which one, in your opinion, has been the most destructive in pvp? i know not that much times has passed for the city of villains players to really test em out for pvp, but what has been the most successful one yet? like dps, best powers, most useful in team ect, what is really making it out there?
