Well you are a hero arent you ? What is your purpose if people aint harassing others and ganking new players ? We are heroes, it is about time we acted like ones.

This is a roleplaying game and the devs shouldn't be so careful when doing PvP systems. I want to be afraid, i want people to get angry, i want more emotions on the battlefield. Last night Heroes and Villains were chit chatting on Sirens Call . When i attacked people got all surprised and even heroes booyed me :O

As long there is an arena where people expects you it will always be imbalanced.

The problem with the PvP in CoH/CoV is so big that it is already killing the game. Ofcourse you have people on these forums that loves to PvE only but they obviously have misunderstood the concept of MMORPG's.

This game could be the best PvP game ever but it isnt. It is in fact the worst. There is fear or excitement when killing someone. There isnt a purpose either.

Well i am a hero aint i ? NOPE ! There is no villains charging Atlas Park or harassing new players. There is no purpose for me to exist. This is why i left City of Heroes for good . I really dont see a purpose of playing a game where there is no challenge.

I am a level 25 scrapper (MA/SR).
I'm very old and experienced since i first started playing City of Heroes from day 1 when the US edition went LIVE.

So the supergroup i am looking for have to be somewhat established and have a good team. Not looking for SG's that recruit anyone, but for a SG that has some standards and quality

Been a SR scrapper ever since the release of the game back in the US which is a VERY long time ago Have never had any problems with it at all. While i felt like a god, others did very badly when teaming. So it's all about choosing the right powers and slotting correctly. Many people like to skip powers and i am very against that.

If you want to be good in all situations in PvP as a scrapper then you need Air Superiority. It`s the only line of defense you have against flying enemies and it does good damage as well. Air Superiority is used within my combos in Martial Arts so its a really good power. You need to pick either Hover or Air Superiority to get Flight so the choice is obvious

Flight and Air Superiority is two things i couldnt be without in PvP and in PvE ofcourse. Ofcourse SS and SJ are fast but in PvP you will get disoriented and with Flight you can follow your enemy way up in the sky and even fight !

Regen if you want little downtime and fight fight fight
But you will meet your end with the bosses where as a Super Reflexes will survive. Its not impossible but boss fighting is in my opinion quite easier with SR. Scrappers are a damagedealing powerhouse, that combined with great defenses against everything makes you astonishing both in PvE and PvP.

This is why people like yourself really need to PvP. I am not PvPing to make Villains upset or angry in any way, i fight because there are kids that enjoys making heroes angry. The only way you gonna get respect is if you fight back, and its the only way these scumbags will ever learn to behave.

This is an MMORPG and PvP is a must for content to flourish. And in every game you need to learn to deal with these kind of people. The people that curse on you in PvP zones are the same ones who makes fun of you if you miss a shot in Counter-Strike. Deal with it ! Fight back ! Are you outnumbered ? Give them the best challenge they ever had before dying.

Dont give these players the satisfaction of ruining the game for you. If you are on my server i will protect you myself

Please stop making threads like this since it will get Devs attention and maybe do something about us.

Martial Artists are well known due to they`re insane damage output on one targes, but against many targets a spines scrapper would do better for example. I am fine with that . We are the ones meant to target the big bosses.

You can`t say one Archtype is best for PvP because while a Scrapper is extreme in some situations he is [censored] in another. Same goes for every archtype . Everyone has some sort of weaknesses and it`s up to you to place your hero in the best situation possible.
