Minor change to ingame Email.
If we are never going to be able to have a "normal" mail system when I can send my stuffs to my alts or to other people...
Can we have in our OPTIONS
Email Yes/No
Because I never use it ever, and like I am sick of logging on my characters and having to delete 99 e-Spams...
I reactivated our 3rd acct >.> and each character had 99+e-Spams

For a second when I saw this I thought you meant the game client had gone into scientific notation to represent the number of spam e-mails you had.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

I'd love an Email On/Off button OR better, one that says
Email:
-On
-Off
If Email On:
-Friends Only
-SG Only
-Anyone
The second you can pick and choose or something. That would make email useful. As for mailing your alts and stuff, I'd rather see the vault expanded so we can put stuff in their for our alts and vice-versa and not just salvage but let us put it all in there.
If they haven't changed it by now so you can filter the spam in some way, they likely never will.
Either there is a conflict of interest somewhere, or they could just care less.
A 10 year old could design a highly effective filter.
99? That's all? I had 220 some spam emails and it took well over 30 minutes to delete them all, finally deleting emails on accident from friends and the SG.

When MA was on the test server, I recieved an email from some one who rated my arc. This would be a good use of the ingame email i think. As often when you log in you dont see any MA reviews of your arc if any have reviewed it. If the review came in via the ingame email then you would be more likely to notice the MA review of any arcs of yours folks may have played, thus being able to read your MA reviews any time
@Snow.
Defiant: Snow + many other alts
Arc ID 61069
Or rather have MA have it's own box/email system for reviews attached to the global name, one that you access through the MA on any toon, where your reviews are saved for easy future reference.
Other than that I would love to see allow options on my email, but at the same time I know the spammers would find some new and exciting way to get their message across.
The only issue I have with taking the E-mails away from RMTers is that it'll go back to zone-wide spam and tells, again. So the broadcast channel will be filled with -more- useless drivel than normal (no that odd) and people will randomly get tells amounting to "You are a crazy sexy hero and stuff. You should, like, totally buy some influence from me. All the sexy people do it."
For those who don't catch the reference, do a search on the Whitest Kids You Know Opus. Or WKUK Everest. NSFW! >_<

As for MA feedbacks going to email, they originally had it set up so they would, but it was changed due to emails not being global. So you'd have to log in on the character you published the arc with.
Edit: But yeah, all I want is an option to disable email and/or automatically delete everything I receive. (Preferrably with some notification to the one sending that I have it set such in the latter case, so I don't get yelled at for not responding) I mean, we have options to disable all kinds of useful things - up to and including experience, of all things. Why is being able to disable arguably the game's most useless feature such a big ask? Too hard to program or something, maybe?

[Admin] Emperor Marcus Cole: WAIT ONE SECOND!

Personally, this is such an annoying and very frustrating feature that as a designer I can say one thing with out a doubt. A majority of the designers don't play the game to have fun, only to do their jobs. If they had to log in to play with their friends, wade through 200+ emails, you bet it would get fixed quickly.

The same people would be deleting spams, but could do it quicker.
The folks that keep thier RMTmail would still do so.
The only negative thing I see would be a decrease in use of the "Spam" button, which flags the sender as a Spammer (for TPTB to look at and take action if needed) and places the sender on Global Ignore. And yes, if your ignore list is full, the oldest ignore is dropped to make room.
*TPTB=The Powers That Be, whoever is in charge back there at corporate.
Instead of the Reply, Reply All, Delete, Spam or New option buttons, I would prefer Reply, Delete, Delete All, Spam or New.
I don't see much of a need for "Reply All", outside of SG communications.
Or just add "Delete All" in addition. I'm not picky. Maybe even with a pop-up of "Delete All? Yes/No?" to appease those that are saving an email or two, since there are a few legitimate ones out there.
Or the oft-requested reciever-side filter.
Thank you.
