Either there is a conflict of interest somewhere, or they could just care less.
A 10 year old could design a highly effective filter.
Personally, this is such an annoying and very frustrating feature that as a designer I can say one thing with out a doubt. A majority of the designers don't play the game to have fun, only to do their jobs. If they had to log in to play with their friends, wade through 200+ emails, you bet it would get fixed quickly. -

Because I never use it ever, and like I am sick of logging on my characters and having to delete 99 e-Spams...
I'd love an Email On/Off button OR better, one that says

-On
-Off
If Email On:
-Friends Only
-SG Only
-Anyone
The second you can pick and choose or something. That would make email useful. As for mailing your alts and stuff, I'd rather see the vault expanded so we can put stuff in their for our alts and vice-versa and not just salvage but let us put it all in there.
