Healing Bonus on IO sets not working?

In my Kuji-In Sha I checked on my Doctored wounds (full set of all 6). Base Heal 301.96, Modified Heal 594.82 (97.5%). According to the info on the tool-tip. Rounded up that means my heal should be +595 and it is. However according to the set bonuses if I have 4 (and I have all 6) I an supposed to get an additional 4% bonus to all my healing powers which Kuji-In Sha is, to the best of my knowledge. This should mean my percentage modifier on my heal should be 101.5% (97.5% + 4%) so 301.19 x 101.5% = 606.9. So my Kuji-In Sha should heal me for 607 rounded up.

Unfortunately in testing it still only heals me for 595.

Am I misunderstanding set bonuses or is this not working correctly?

Any heal that gets a +Resist(element) does not get the heal bonus applied to it. Sha gives +Res(Toxic), so therefor does not benefit from heal bonuses.

Really? Thats good to know, as I had no idea. Would you happen to know when this was made that way, or has it always been as it is now?

It has always been this way. Its because the numbers for the resist bonus get all wonky when they apply the heal bonus. Its a complicated math/back-end issue. I only really understand it because of trying to sort the same trouble out for some regen stalker friends.

[/ QUOTE ]The IO set does not explain that it specifically in-fact states that it applies to ALL healing powers. There is no distinction about powers that have other effects not being included. In-fact any heal using this IO set or virtually any IO set might be nullified of any healing bonus due to the fact that the IO set provides its own bonuses.

Not really sure what you're trying to say here. It sounds like: "Since an IO set provides other bonuses when slotted in a healing power, that will make the healing bonus not count." If that's what you're saying, then it's completely wrong. Firstly, the IO sets are not proving their bonuses to the power; they're applying the bonuses to YOU. Second, it's not "healing powers with other effects"; it's just healing powers that give damage resistance.

I agree that this this is a case of the set not stating the facts correctly. Its certainly not the only bonus or IO or set type to need work. Its not a bug, it just is the way it is, sorry. The rest of the bonuses in the set are certainly applied, just not the +heal to that particular power. It is possible to have one heal/regen power that gets the bonus and one that does not as I seem to believe is the case in regen.

Correct. Reconstruction gives resistance to toxic (and would not get the bonus) and Dull Pain does not give +resistance. The rest of the powers are +regen powers, rather than healing powers.

These bonuses are great for the Empathy set, which has 3 straight heal powers.

I have always felt this exemption on powers for the toxic resists thing was stupid. No one in their right mind actually slots these for toxic resistance to begin with. I can see putting a resists IO in as an IO mule for the 3% defense IO but never straight resistance. For heroeside there is hardly any toxic damage to be slotting for it and on villainside stuff tends to hit you way harder in general so having a bigger heal helps there, so why slot for toxic resistance? Does anyone know if this applies to the poison heal eventhough the toxic resists are not enhanceable?

I have a Healer. I slotted four DWs into Resuscitate (A Medicine Pool Power). My Healing Aura was not affected. All Healing Powers except any of them?

Okay, I respeced my healer. In so doing, I slotted Healing Aura (Empathy Power, Heal Only) with THREE Doctored Wounds, holding back the fourth in my tray. When I finished respecing, I looked at Healing Aura, and the Detailed Info says, "219.00 (133.86) heal on target". When I slot the fourth Doctored Wounds, the Detailed Info says, "219.00 (133.86) heal on target.

Is this a known problem? Or do I get the badge?

It sounds like you're looking at the details on the enhancement screen. If so, wrong place. The information on that screen includes ONLY the enhancement effect of what is slotted, plus Incarnate bonuses if you have any.

IO set bonuses are *NOT* included in the calculations on the enhancement screen. A guaranteed way to test it would have been to actually use the heal power and note the green number over the targets head, then slot the final IO and try again.

1) If I understand the situation correctly, there is nothing wrong.
2) If there is something wrong, no way in hell does it qualify for Bug Hunter. Unless the 'bugged' healing is crashing the servers.
