Attempting to show it off in the middle of combat... probably not the best idea.

I wonder if when you're on a team, if it revels the Fog of War for EVERYONE, or just you?

I would presume the mechanics of FoW remain unchanged. Ergo, in a mission (unless a hidden trial map) it reveals for everyone. Outside, it reveals for only the user.

I would think it'd be just the player (there are very few veteran rewards that allow one player to provide the same benefit for an entire team) but I could be wrong.
That power won't be of much use for me in a mission. I routinely end up lost and use the FoW so I know what area's I've been in already. I hope it only reveals for the caster.
Outside of missions in actual zones I'd use this power just about every chance I get!

This. I know I'll be using it to unveil entire zones, especially when I suddenly, and without warning, must have every Exploration badge from that zone, and only vaguely remember where they are, and vidiotmaps doesn't quite help yet because I haven't uncovered enough of that solid black map.
Or for maps that are just plain neat.

Oh, and I did it during battle since I just bubbled everyone and we were mowing down groups like mad.
I also agree with Enigma, I use the fog of war to remind me where to go next, but, I wanted to try it out. I will use it for outside zones all the time though.

The player in question was frightened by the flashing lights and bright noises and was looking for a place to hide.
