4 AVs at once...

Ok, I swear this is the last time I will post a new topic about my accomplishments for a long while

(You can let my other thread die as well.)

Anyway... As far as I know or have been told, 3 AVs at once was the best accomplishment so far for */regen. So... I had to know if I could do 4. Without temporary powers, and without inspirations. Turns out, I can. And I think I might be able to do 5, but I'm probably not going to try that for a while.

Convergence.
A cat falls, a narrow miss.
There's a snake in his boot.
ET goes home.
Must... stay away... from fellow Katana user...
... but he came after me anyway.
Why do they call it "Golden Dragonfly" anyway?
Looks more red to me.
Four AVs, one chat window.

So, that's that. I don't need more congrats or anything, since I got enough of that in the last thread. Just wanted to share. Thanks all.

Very nice bro!

Very cool, I'm especially impressed that you do it on a regen without capped defense (if I remember the build I believe you posted previously). Could you describe your tactics?

Get them all around you and spam Divine Avalanche?

Not, um... quite that easy.

To Cybernaut: You need to make sure DA is stacked twice at all times, of course, but timing heals/cooldowns is the biggest factor in survival. With two at range, which I only have ~25% defense against, and two at melee, death can come at any time. It's all about watching the buff/debuff bar for incoming hits and, like I said before, timing MoG or heals.

It's also about knowing when -not- to heal, and what hits you can afford to gamble letting your regeneration rate take care of instead of using your heal cooldowns.

I'm confused. According to your link, you generate 800,000 relationships a year? [Darth Vader]Impressive. Most impressive.[/Darth Vader]

Indeed, when I tell the ladies about my scrapper interwebz accomplishments, they pour in from all directions.

What exactly does that mean? Do attacks with debuffs appear on the bar before they actually hit and do damage?

Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

The Scavenger Hunt: 187076
The Instant Lair Delivery Service: 206636

No, it's knowing when you've got so many debuffs on you that you're going to be wanting to burn a heal or MoG because more damage is incoming.

The general tactics I use (and I assume Val uses as well) is to simply figure out how fast and when damage is coming and tailor my click powers to those uses. Once you learn the timing on damage (and yes, learning specific timing is important; lots of AVs have something approaching an attack string), you can figure out that you don't need a heal at some points and do at others because the next few attacks will be pretty weak. Instant Healing is pretty much the "I want to focus on beating their faces for the next minute" button, especially when you've got DP up.
