Out of curiosity, what if the TF requires fewer than eight to start? Should all the speed teams be the same size?

Without second guessing what Toona wants to do with this I would suggest 5 different TF/SFs that can be chosen, all of which can be run under 45 mins.

If it were up to me, every team wanting to compete in this challenge would have to complete all 5 TF/SFs within a given period of time (say a week) and the aggrigate total would be tallied for each team. Winners have the lowest total time.
But this isn't Iggy's show.
I'd absolutely be up for it as long as I could work it into my schedule. Sounds fun. 
i would like to think having 8 puts it on a level playing field for all. Just a way to keep no team from having an advantage/disadvantage

I know Iggy would do something like that 
i thought about having 2 short tfs and the best combined score wins. I think that would exclude some people and i dont wanna do that. It would also make it hard to verify same players if they switched toons.
If this happens and goes over well, i would do it again if people were willing.

if this is as far as someone would go to win a couple bucks, they certainly needs money more than I. I believe in the honor system and i think i have a pretty decent idea of what most TFs should run. If i saw a 15 min LG, i would just laugh and move on to the next time.

I would eliminate the Statesman TF and the LGTF from the list for fairness because of the key drop on the STF and the hostage placement in the LGTF. Sometimes it seems everything is right up front and you get the key or the AV spawned right away and other times it seems like every mob needs killin' and every nook and cranny needs searchin'. Those variables, to me, don't make it an even playing field for each team, regardless of the total completion time.
When PoJ ran the STF as a Time Force event, they had a judge on each team who stopped the clock at the "Mission Complete" ding of the mission before you have to find the key and restarted it as soon as they key was found. They automatic in-game timer provides a nice screen shot and means you don't need a judge on each team, but it leaves the issue of some teams getting luckier than others.

Well, following this logic, you would have to exclude all TFs/SFs from this list.
ITF: different map layout of 2nd mission
KTF: random glowie placement in 3rd mission
RSF: random placement of tech in 1st mission

There are only a few variations, but some are much faster to clear than others (for example, there's the "one main hallway where all the cysts are" map, and there's the "map splits in two, twice" map).

The OP suggested a week's worth of availability to run the TFs as much as you want, and to submit your best time.
The luck of the draw does have an influence on your best times, but the luck of the draw also affects the ability of Statesman or Lord Recluse to hit you when you're def capped as well.
LGtf has no real mob placement variables that would affect a run by more than 2 minutes, really. The rescue psychics mission must be failed in order to get a sub 30 minute time anyhow, so finding two hero NPCs is as variable as it gets.
STF's security chief hunt is the luck of the draw out of 9 security chiefs. Getting the last chief as the key holder probably adds about 3-5 minutes to a good team.
RSF's placement of the tech adds the most variability to times since it is an escort objective. Getting the tech closest to boss room is best, while finding the tech in tower 1 can add 5 minutes to a run easily.
To be honest, I don't think many people will take this rigorously, since there are many variables that can speed things up, like vet tp, mission tp, vent/ts, shivans, purple enhancements, vengeance stacking and tier 3 insps. I think it's just a fun way for people to show how much they can push the limit without being refereed. But if people want sum srsbzns to this kinda thing, knock yerselves out and assemble your uber fire/rad & fire/kin superteam!

I had forgotten the "best of" option on the times! That and the allownace of all the things you mentioned above do make it much easier. Most of those either didn't exist or weren't allowed in the Time Force events.

I dont how many people are really interested in doing this, but i know the crew i play with are looking foward to having a little competition. Ill try and set up something tomorrow night or Wed. Im thinking ITF, Katie, or Khannnnnnnn. If anyone has a preference please speak up.
Would this interest anyone or seem fun to do? I can provide prizes for the winning team. If it looks like maybe 5-10 teams would like to give it a go I will try and set it up.

I dont care who you run with. I dont care if you like me. I dont care if you dont like my friends. Just a friendly, FLAMEFREE challenge is all im going for.
Since i stay mainly with my small circle of friends, i'm curious to what other players can do. I'm also curious what the people i play with can do if they build for it.
Only person not allowed is @BQ. Since they copy my builds, toon looks and similar names its like having me on a team, only with extra suck. That is a conflict of interest.
