Saving the CoX...

I had an idea to turn away from the farms in the AE, the idea is the following, the AE would still have XP, but this would only be given at the end of missions, while the influence and prestige could run normally.

What does this change?

The lowbies return to normal missions and know the great game they have in their hands, so only the chars level 50 would make the AE, to raise prestige and influence, I bet that the number of lowbies doing AE decrease 95% and the game would have the grace that was before ...

This is the only salvation I see for the game at that time ...

Actually, this doesn't work. Unlike the farming in the rest of the game, when farming in the AE, it is most advantageous to complete the missions. Since you can simply reselect and run the mission again, there is no reason not to, and you get the ticket bonus at the end. Reserving the XP until the end would have zero effect, as anyone completing the mission would still get the XP.

The only difference would be that instead of a bunch of little dings throught the mission, folks would get a bucnh of dings all at once at the end.

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):

and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)

Do they need saving? They make up about 50.25% of the population. Seems like that would be enough.

you sir, have no idea what your talking about.

A) the game doesnt need "saving"

B) if it did, this is not the way to "save" it

C) this wouldnt change anything. people would just make missions that would be easily completed and farm mission bonuses.

i suggest you have a decent idea and put a little more thought into an idea that is suppose to be [ QUOTE ]

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

If this is the only salvation you can see the you need to get your eyes checked.

I see many people complaining of Farms and because of that I put the word "salvation" in the post, who pointed out that as a fact of playing stones, should learn to express themselves better and have some extra lessons for the interpretation of text.

Returning to the subject of the post, you are right Light, but who was playing before I13 was funny how the time of sewers, travels powers, and martyrdom to get to level 50 ...

Perhaps the only way is to leave as is and see what happens, then everything tires ...

Actually, there's a limit to how many tickets you can earn in any given AE mission. But it still wouldn't solve the problem of just resetting the mission via a single glowy objective.

No, the word "salvation" has nothing to do with what is wrong with your suggestion. You could have just as easilt used "solution" or "fix" or a host of other descriptive terms.

The problem with your suggestion is that you assumed that only forcing people to complete an AE mission would reduce farming.

Players have been running repeatable content for years in this game. There are several speed TF's that people rush thru for the rewards and to powerlevel. Forcing people to complete AE missions is no different than a speed Katie.

The only way to stop farming is to make content unrepeatable, and that is NEVER going to happen. If the devs implemented the changes it would take to stop farming it would ruin the game.

As much as some players may dislike the playstyle, farming and powerleveling will always be a part of any MMO. One of the jobs of the devs and GM's is to keep it in check by stompng hard on every exploit that crops up.
