A feature to keep in mind in I16
If we get more than just the list of preset colors (red, blue, green, yellow, etc) and can choose from the pallet like costume colors then a 'match color' feature might not actually match the colors anyway.
Energy melee is a mix of red and white so visually looks like pink. Sonic is just white (or gray) so if you matched them both red, sonic would look darker.
Anyway, a feature like this wouldn't be too bad though. I never actually use it though. I always tinker with shades and hues to get what I want.

To me, a "Match Color" option would at least give me a starting point. Like you said, I might have to tweak it a bit from there to get what I want, but it'd still save some time.
I could go for this. It sounds like a nice little thing that'll help out. As you said, one of the things I'm really looking forward to is being able to make my powers look alike.
I hadn't even thought about being able to make Hasten, that glowy oddball that you almost always take on almost every character, match colors. That'll be great!!
Tip for matching colors: write down the X-Y location in the color chooser! (it is just a grid, after all)

Yeah, a lot of powers are like this. Warshade powers, for instance, are actually bright blue and pink with a bit of black mixed in here and there. You'd have a hard time matching colors unless they give you control over multiple effects in each power.
As i was pondering I16 and color changes.
I was wondering if a feature could/will be added with it.
My goal is to "match" my powers colors if at all possible. I have a Sonic/EM. I'd like my EM fists to match the sonics. I'm going to tint my hasten effects to match whatever powers i have...(Rads, Gravity, Ice, ect.)
It would be really helpful... if there were some kinds of presets for powersets. Like, you want hasten to match... Gravity. you could either play with the colors youself, or just pick "gravity", and sets the colors to match gravitys.
I just have a hard time matching up colors easily. I forsee me tinkering and tinkering and tinkering to get a perfect match... this... would be awsome.
Just sayin...
