Is there a red-side channel for people to organize things in? Like champion villains or something?
Seems like there are a lot of people playing redside solo...
That might be a good idea to start up - take the intiative. 
I am also playing red-side all the time. My current project is a level 38 EM/Ninja named Satori --> feel free to invite meh if you see me running around destroying everything.

To the villain experience:
Redside champion was big at one point, but I noticed more and more going towards farming, or after some drama, there was some burnout, and/or exodus. Not to mention that after the heroes got bored with heroes, went through the villain side content, they eventually went back to the blue. The other problem is several prominent VG leaders/organizers have gone on to other things-without them, their groups broke up.
I play as oft as I can, preferring redside champion, but as somebody who loves to play with friends, when other friends aren't playing here, I go where the friends play. (Blueside, or on another server.) I still try to pull them back over, or just solo, but that only goes so far. I'm stubborn, though, so I'm stickin' to my villain guns.
I have 7 villains and two spots free that I'm saving for the Villain Epic ATs. I have a dom I'm working through the 40s right now and while I would love to play with people, it's hard to find teams redside.
Everyone seems stuck in their groups. That or they are AE farming because you don't need people your level to get a team together.
I'd be willing to play redside more often if I had people to play with on a regular basis. Channel, perhaps we'll have to do something about this. Celestial let's talk two is easier than one.

check my link below (hint wednesday night) if you have a toon that you want to team with. look at joining either hot knife or butter. Granted its only 2 hours a week but its is playing through some of the red side content.

I would out level the team in one weekend. I would like people to do the Patron arcs on however and I'm not against malefactoring, but that needs to be clear in advance. I'm already lvl 42 so Team butter seems better suited but after next weekend, I'm sure I'll be around 45. I'm much more interested in getting to the Epic ATs and THEN seeing stuff more slowly I suppose.

For some reason, I can't get into any of the HEATs nor VEATs. I think it's because all four require very tight builds, and I much prefer builds with breathing room. :P

Kheldians aren't "tight" builds at all.
Have you ever seen their section on the boards? People don't talk builds or anything 'cause they're like, "Man, there's so much [censored] you can do. No way is a wrong way."

I've never played a crab. However, I'd only play a Widow towards soft-cap.

I agree, at least towards HEATS. They have the most flexible build trees in the game.

Team Butter is at the high end of 44 and the low end of 45 atm. The main group of toons should all be 45 after tomorrow. Hot Knife is slightly lower lvl I think- when we did ITF most seemed a level or two below us; either team would have room for you if you wanted to join us tomorrow evening, even if just for the night. I know my spot will be empty due to a family celebration.
It looks like we'll be doing another Wednesday static team after this group reaches 50, so maybe you'd be interested in that one?
I'll probably stop by this wednesday. When a new Static is started I have plenty of toons to choose from to join it. Most of them are level 7 or 8. I didn't get far before I decided I wanted to have all options available.

One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Considering that of all the alts I've established, my villains are the only characters who've passed level 20 should tell you which side I play more frequently. I'm partial to Red. There's just something about running through West Indian towns and slums that lends something to strong flavor. I have had to solo most of the time, as I too have found very scarce pickings to team with. And I love teaming. It heightens the social experience when you're playing the game with someone else.

I have a level 50 robotics/MM and a few other villains on Champion. My current project is leveling a dark/wp brute which I mostly solo with. Never tried blueside on that server... might do that.
