I used Flurry on my Fire/Rad/Fire Troller when I farmed myself for PvP IOs. With Hasten+AM running Flurry is ready after its done.

With Rad on my Scarpper and no shields I can drop him with a mez and 3 flurry attacks.

I would never think of getting Flurry on any other toons unless I built one for Fiteclub but I would rather see if I can turn myself inside out starting with my rectum than to Fiteclub

The power flurry will recharge before the attack animation is over. The flurry animation takes 3 seconds, on a decent build the power recharges in 1 second. So by the time the power is done animating you can fire it off again instantly. You can get at 2-3 flurries off in the time it takes kob to recharge.

No... powers don't start to recharge until their animation is finished. If it's working otherwise, it's a bug.

Although flurry does good damage the rooting is horrid. Only good for the fite klub types that like to stand still (like loony that I mention before). Kick on the other hand is totally viable and I use it regularly in zone as a filler instead of jab.

I stopped by the train station the other day in RV and watched a tank named deveron duel some brute and all he used was flurry flurry flurry then kob. It seemed instantaneous. Maybe he has the recharge so low it only seemed that way, but one things for sure is that he spammed that attack like it was going out of style. Sad part is it was doing pretty good damage.

Mac is right, powers don't start recharging until they are done animating. But flurry has a really short recharge time to begin with, so it's basically instant recharge.

That's the part that makes people say the power pool attacks are good. Flurry does slighly less damage than KoB, but KoB recharges in what...25 seconds? or 20? And flurry is basically instant. That's a really big deal.

Only toon I took flurry on is my PB, so I'd have an attack for human form. And flurry was better than any regular attack from the PB set.

I could care less about how PvP is now.
The PvE in this game is still fun for me, thats why I'm still here.

I will say this though.
I was an everyday PvPer on the Protector server until the day the changes were implemented.
After the changes I tried to still PvP in recluses Victory...I would go in there everyday for about two weeks and no one was ever in there...you would occasionally get the farmers but that was it.
Ever since then I have not went into RV.

Whether or not the PvP changes helped or hurt PvP...which the answer will of course vary from player to player...I do know that the changes hurt my experience with the game because seemingly the changes were so bad that no one even stuck around so that I could try the changes out.
That to me tells me that the changes to PvP actually hurt PvP in the long run.

But again, like i said...the PvE in this game is so fun that I will never stop playing despite not being able to PvP.

Aside from Incandescent Strike, the high damage -Fly -Def Hold, Version of TF.

IS >>>>>Flurry

Nah. It's about the same damage with the same activation time. But flurry is an attack chain all by itself, while IS can only be used rarely.

There's more to rating powers than by just damage though, and an opening attack that hits like TF, but does -Def -Fly and Holds the target beats wabbit punching. Could be a playstyle thing though.

whats so OP about therms? I mean yeah they can be a challenge at times but there nowhere near OP or in need of a nerf. Therms are fine just the way they are, both blue/red side

People are mad because they can't figure out how to use inspirations, so they constantly whine about running out of endurance when fighting a Therm. All you gotta do is bring some blues along, it's really not hard to figure out.

Of course, they'll probably give Heat Exhaustion the Drain Psyche treatment - if the real numbers readout is correct, DP now does -0.8 end/sec, which isn't even enough -recovery to stop your base recovery rate.

You know, I was wondering about that. I just made a /psi dom recently, and after all I heard about DP, it seemed to do absolutely nothing when I used it. Guess that explains why.

It still grants the same +Recov if I'm not mistaken. Which is a boon IMO since doms are lil more end heavy now.

Dont forget that what really makes DP shine is the -regen, and that was not touched. Slap that on a tank and good bye 1k+ hp regen over the next 30 secs. DP's -regen makes Psi the highest damage dealer of all just based on this alone.
