Is something wrong with my connection? Screenshot
I had a similar problem about 2 years ago, I traced it down to a somewhat weak wireless signal to my router. If you're on a wireless network that may be your problem. When I switched back to a hard wired LAN the problem went away.
Of course I may be talking out of my ***** again; I've been known to do that on occasion

No I am not on wireless but thanks.
Actually I just saw a post a couple posts down talking about lag on Triumph. The reply that someone gave the poster is that there is an issue effecting all East Coast servers. (Which is what I happen to play on)
Thing is that post was made about 6 hours ago. Is anyone still having this or is it possibly me?

I'm getting that tonight as well (on Freedom). It was fine earlier, but getting strange behavior now. My netgraph looks just like yours.
That's a really annoying case of download packet loss. It will make your character stutter and some animations not play or play late. I'm seeing the same thing and I was convinced it was my ISP. Most common causes of this are either faulty hardware (say, deadbeat modem like I used to have) or ISP spazzing out. Mine tends to get overloaded at times, and some of my packets start dropping into the ether.
No idea how you can fix it, though, but if one comes up, I'll try it.

Its ISP related.

/net_error_correction 2
What is the difference between 1 and 2, no one knows. Hey, no one really knows what net_error_correction does at all. When I'm having those dropped packets (the red lines in the netgraph) that command seems to reduce the stutters I see. Maybe its just the placebo effect I don't know.

But it doesn't reduce the actual lost packets, right? Meaning I shouldn't be looking for a kinder netgraph? I'll give it a shot. See if it helps. Before I go boot my provider on the...

[/ QUOTE ] Everybody else on my team was experiencing the same thing, inside and outside of missions. Lag to the point where even regular attacks looked like toggles. lol
We're all from different parts of the world and have different ISPs.
Just sayin.
(I'm not saying it's the server's fault. I'm not going to be one of those people. I'm simply providing a little more information regarding my situation. I'll admit, I don't know if EVERYBODY on the team was experiencing it, but a few of us were comparing netgraph results several times throughout the SF, and like I said.. my netgraph didn't look anything like that earlier in the day.)
Yep, quite a while ago this same thing was happening to my connection to all the West coast servers, in the same intermittent fashion. Nothing I did ever cleared it up, I had to switch servers for a while. It eventually stopped (but took a couple of months, yes months).
Last couple of weeks I've noticed it off and on now striking the East coast servers.. Doesn't make things unplayable, but really ruins the experience.
I noticed increased disk activity since i15 release. While i don't blame it on CoX (I didn't have chance to look what is causing such activity, it is very possible some background process on my puter does something. On another hand, I haven't put anything new on my puter), that disc activity causes some game play hicups, like random few second freezes.
Next time I play game, I'll try to run netgraph to see if there is any correlation between disc activity and network.

Interesting. I had this too last night and several people on the team complained about it. This was during the Kahn TF so I just figured it was related to the TF (like the ITF lag hill). This was on Infinity. We started the TF about 9:45 PM EST. I did another TF after midnight and did not notice any problems at that time.

I swear I've never had this problem before and I disabled my router but still getting it. Is it perhaps Windows Vista Firewall? I keep getting these mini lag spikes which is fairly annoying. They are very minute but you can feel them. When I play World of Warcraft I don't have this problem.
Here is a screenshot of my net graph:

Is this a typical netgraph or is something up? I am seeing a lot of little red bars.
Can anyone give advice?
