Where to Find Rikti
Brickstown has the entrance by the hospital.

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

You know that if you pull up the in-game map and click the Zones tab, there is a map of Paragon City showing where the zones are and what other zones border them, right?
It's the same map that is plastered all over the front of every train station, only labeled for clarity.
If you're hunting Rikti for the aura mission, you don't actually have to go to Crey's Folly.
The contact recommends that you do...because you can find Freakshow, Devouring Earth, and Rikti all near the entrance of Crey's Folly. So it's a good place to do it, but it ain't required.
It's just not easy to find Rikti elsewhere at level 30. They do spawn outdoors in Founders Falls and Peregrine Island also, but those would naturally be of higher level.
I think the count registers if someone kills Rikti inside instanced missions, though...so maybe it would be possible to get a radio mish with Rikti, or maybe do Montague's Midnighter arc or something. Dunno. Never tried that, but it should work.

... to add my 2 cents...
If your required to fight X number of Rikti... it may be easiest to just target monkeys which will be on the building to your right upon entering....
If its broke, don't fix it... I like the chaos!
Crey's is best for the aura mission because you can also take out the swarms for the required DE mobs.

On the map there is a tab called "City", which will show all the zones, how they connect to one another, and if train lines ( yellow and green) connect to them.
Rolling over each of the zones give's you it's name.
(To add; if you are looking for Rikti for the Aura mission, the Science Store contact in Brickstown gives a mission with Rikti in it to unlock his store).

I lucked out a few times with my first few toons and had invasions start right when I hit that mission. Made it VERY easy. Lots of equal level Rikti spawning all around you made the hunt quick. Side note: when are we getting those back again? I miss them.

They happen every time someone completes the Lady Grey Task Force.

I'll agree with this, especially if you can fly and have some decent mez or AOE attacks. Find a bunch on monkeys and avoid the Freakshow, Crey, and higher level rikti...plus if it's the aura mission you can finish the monkeys, then go after the swarms for the Devouring Earth goo.

[/ QUOTE ]I know that. I just miss the occasional weekends where the Rikti get ornery and start raiding every zone like every hour. Same for zombies.

The zombies happen every Halloween. The Rikti... whenever the devs feel like it. They don't do it too often, people get sick of aliens invading every five minutes.

True. But the Invasion weeks make it much easier to achieve the Badges to get teh Accolade. I think having Invasion Weeks a few times a year, is a happy medium.

Most of the Rikti in the Midnighter missions do not count. Only the Boss and any summoned by Comm Officers count. All the others seem to count as Lost instead of Rikti (understandable because for lower level heroes, they do spawn as Lost.)
