I just bought Aion yesterday for my girlfriend. You probably don't know her, but I will steer her your direction, as I will not be playing it (yet).
I understand the blah attitude about CoH recently. I have been spending only a little maintenance time in it, preferring to play X3:TC and Fallout 3's expansions.

My bro and law are on the I server (can't remember the name) for beta, 3 other guardian's are on the S server (can't remember the name) Hubby needs a pc upgrade to play so by the time the game accually comes out he shall have his pc rdy to go.
Personally if hubby is coming along be nice to game with him again
I'm not sure how I feel about Aion yet. It looks gorgeous, but most of you already know my feelings on PvP. (I don't even do BGs in WoW, because I have no interest in fighting other players at all.)
I'm on Facebook though. PM me for my info if you want to add me, or you can ask Nori. (Would be nice if you tell me who you are here with your friend invites. I've got some Guardians on there that I don't have a clue who they are.)
My sub here is good until October 12, so I have a lot of time to decide where I'm going.

Ive seen players dueling each other, not much of a fight at low levels though 
But I been just going around collecting food herbs and stuff for crafting and doing PVE quests with my brother in law or solo, did my split class mission last night to go from a mage to a scoreress shes level 11 now, my warrior (going templar) is level 5 and the rest of my classes (made 2 of each) are level 1, i have another mage going spiritmater and another warrior going gladiator, 2 priests one going cleric another going chanter then 2 scouts one going ranger and one going assassin, I hope they come out with more classes too, its way to fun
Hubby wasn't to nuts on the character creater when I got him to play with it on mine, so he might be not playin now 
Ill get him to change his mind

Uh no Aions been over seas in Korea for years from what I understand 
and Blac as I said on FB, if ur gonna preorder get it from the store so u get all those extra goodies, don't digital copy it from the NCSoft store cause I preorder'd I didn't get the collectors ed but i jipped myself outta the goodies (map and such) u think paying that amount they would mail it to us! 
Unfortunately it looks like CoH is going the way of Tabula Rasa instead
