Ultimate Sapper, But enough Damage?

I'm playing around with numbers and just working with an ultimate drainer of most effects (Recov, Regen, Resist, Def, Etc.) And decided on an Elec/Dark.

Elec for the -End and /Dark for that Howling Twilight -3000% Regen mixed with various other things and a double DN with the Servant.

Anyways what I'm worried about is the damage. It seems as though there as 2 ST Attacks, 1 AoE, 1 Minor Damage AoE, a little damage hold, and Electric Shackles from the Mu PPP. 3 pets yes, but only 1 is full time damage, while 1 is lostly de-buff control and the PPP pet is over 2min downtime once gone. (Didn't have the slots for it.)

What I'm not looking for, surprisingly, in this build is AoE, I'm looking at ST, perhaps dueling and AVs (?) in it's future, but again, not sure if there is enough damage output going for me.

Here's the bulid and Input is greatly appreciated...

Couple of minor adjustments that my OCD made me toss together. I think the ST damage of the tier one and two attacks plus your pets should be enough to beat out anything you face.

Howling Twilight is -500% regen, not -3000%. Also, the end drain on elec is not nearly good enough on its own to be much of a detriment to anything (chances are the mob's hps will be going down at least as fast as the end).

If you wanted to kill regen, Lingering Radiation is the same % decrease with half the recharge time, Poison Trap is twice as powerful as either, and the Cold Domination set is right at the top of overall debuffing.

When talking about dueling (the OP mentioned that was the plan and possibly AVs), it's -3000%; PvP numbers. But yes, in PvE it's only -500%.

I'd actually recommend (the FotM) Thermal if you're planning on sapping, though. Heat Exhaustion is crippling.

This is not true. Just using Short Circuit and Ball Lightning can drain pve mobs pretty easily.

I know Heat Exhaustion is very nice looking (-Regen -End -Recov -DMG) But I don't see how 1 power that debuffs overthrows a set with 5 debuffing powers (Twilight, Darkest, Tar, Howling, and Servant)

Perhaps you could explain to me better?

Because Heat Exhaustion can be kept on a target permanently, keeping them from any recovery beyond +endurance ticks from Performance Shifter or other drain powers.

No endurance recovery means they're not going to be doing anything except losing hit points - they can't run toggles, attack, or really do anything.

Take cold dom, you aren't relegated to being a one trick pony(let's face it, heat exhaustion is all that thermal has going for it). My two cents.

For Sapping HE is all you need but it hardly is all thermal has going for it.

Forge, +Res to everything cept psi and tox, +Res to Slows, Rez with KB and Immunity, -Def -Res AoE Debuff that can be procced out for more -res.

Yea HE is all thermal has going for it...horrible set.

If you procced every dark debuff with a chance for -Recov you could maybe sap somebody down, if you use Short Circuit and Tesla Cage a lot. Both are really nice for -recov, and tesla's debuff is perma with minor IO investment.

You'll still be lackin dmg though with that build. It'd be death by papercut.

For PvE end sapping, I would have to go with electric/kinetics corr, and even over electric/thermal. I have both of them 50s. Electric on its own will zapp all the endu of critters and it does not take that long to do it. Still, /kinetics secondary helps to zap them out of endurance faster because transference recharges faster and it actually drains endurance. Thermal has no tool to drain like kinetics; it has tools to debuff recovery. The heal in kinetics drains for a little bit, but it is enough to drain the last tiny bit if one of the zapping powers from either set is not recharged yet.

Short circuit zaps endu but also debuffs recovery and the recovery debuff last long enough to do a good job to zap him dry using all your tools.

For pure end zapping in PvE, electric/kin is perhaps number one.

Repeat Offenders forever !

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.
