Monday night Task Forces

Hi Everyone!!

This is just a reminder, that the Monday Night "Freedom Horde" Task Forces will be starting a new run on Monday July 20th. They will continue at the same time spot at 10pm Eastern/7pm Pacific.

This past run of Task Forces has helped several of us get characters from 10 to 50. So why not roll a new toon and join us on the next run?

I fully expect to have at least 2 teams running each week for these. We will be starting off with Positron on July 20th. Each week will see a new Task Force or Trial that will progress in level. This is of course for Hero Side.

So start working on those new toons now! You need to be at least level 10 to join Positron, and level 12 is even better if you plan on slotting Dual Origin Enhancements.

As always, if you plan on joining us each week (or most weeks) let me know and I can automatically add you to the sign up sheets.

PS: What will I be running you ask? A rad/rad Defender

I should be there most weeks as usual.

My new character is: Beauty in a Bubble an Ill/FF Controller - two power sets I've never really played before.

Currently she is lvl 6 - very close to 7.

My new toon was going to be a Rad/Rad Defender. Copy Cat!!! Maybe I will switch - although you can never have too many rads.

Lol Actually we are always short on rads, so I think you should be safe to stay on yours. Have you played that toon much? I'm really enjoying mine so far. I have her up to 14.

I will be there with my new Tank on most runs.

General Gintoki WP/SS lvl 50

I'll still be here every week, and willing to lead a team.

As for what character to bring... I don't think I'm making a new one. I might actually work on some of the other low ones I have already. Maybe I'll finally do something with my PB and WS that have been sitting around for ages. lol

I'm trying to decide between my Sonic/Ice Defender and my Dark/Dark Scrapper....but I should be around for every Monday, regardless.

Glad to hear, I was counting on you to lead the second team again I'll try to balance your team as best I can. I think the PB or WS either one would be good for blasts/tanking as your team needed.

Sounds fun I have a tank I made a while back(I do that with future toons I would like to play to get lots of patrol exp)already lvl 12 so it works out nicely. His name is Glasses can't remember the powersets right now will update later.

I have only played a few levels and haven't played him in awhile because I have other alts I have been working on. I had played a earth/rad controller to 50 and I really liked it. Also you can sign me up every week, I will be there unless something suddenly comes up

Wait until you get your rad/rad on a team with some damage. All I've played with mine so far has been duo's or trio's and things have just been melting. It's pretty awesome.

I'll be joining with King Sac, only because I like him too much to play another toon. Plus, I like earning merits for him.

lol, Excellent, glad to have you along. I guess I'm too much of an altaholic to stick to one toon. I have 3 favorites, but I'm always wanting to try new ones!

The current run of TF's that we are on has gone from February 23rd (I think) until July 13th. We have hit every TF, Trial and Ouroborus TF along the way in as close to level range as I could get them. So as long as you make it to at least some of them, you should be able to stay in level range of the TF's!

I have to say this has been an amazing run. When Luna first proposed this I envisioned we would just be running the Freedom Phalanx Task Forces. I had no idea we would be running every TF there is. There has been a really great turnout and I've gotten to meet some new people. So thanks for getting this going Luna. Its definitely improved the gaming experience for me and I'm guessing for everyone else.

I just like having fun with everyone, and like you said Xort, I've gotten to meet a lot of new people (most of them nice ) and made a lot of new friends. I really look forward to seeing everyone each week!

So I may be quite when setting up the TF's (aka Herding Cats), and I sure as heck cannot type or spell correctly when bashing some enemies head in, but I really enjoy these events! Thanks to everyone for putting up with my newbie leadership moments I'm hoping that things will be even smoother this second run through.
