You dont want fireball and you really really want flares and blaze. All you need from the mental is DP, TK thrust and the bu of course.

You can get bonuses from other powers in your primary, in the power pools and your epic. Taken a wasted power for a bonus is really pointless. Now if its a power you can use and nice bonuses you are on to something.

why no fireball? and why flares? flares says minor dmg, and fireball - moderated? with recharge up etc, wouldnt fireball give me more than flares? -
Just trying to understand - also is blazing bolt a waste of point or not? havent used sniper attacks before, as sonic doesnt doesnt have it.

I dont know where to start.
Attacks:
You have, Subdual, Fire Blast and Fire Ball for ranged.
TK and PSW for close ranged.
Scare for mez.
You dont have enough +Rech to perma Hasten, so lets look at the numbers with that off. Pretty much youll be sitting on Fire Blast and Subdual for your damage. Chipping away at health with no big punch. Ouch.
Also, you have 2 great cone powers, and you took neither?
Recharge:
Decent amount, but not enough for perma hasten.
Defense:
I like the -KB from Zephyr but why Acro? Because 8pts of -KB isnt enough? Seems like a wasted pick.
Not enough set bonuses to matter, you are running naked so to speak.
Wierd Slotting:
6 Slots in Stamina just fro +5% recharge and 2.5% damage? Drop 3 in there to max recovery and move the other 3.
6 Sloting Posis on Fireball is a little wasteful as well, Its so damage heavy you're ED'ing on 5 (all but Dam/End). Thats another slot.
Same for Sting... drop the Proc tho. It really doesnt pay off given the slow recharge/animation time of the power. +1 slots.
And Scare, lose the proc. The Proc is counter productive. Scare hits.. applies fear.. freezes target. Then the proc damge tick hits and they get thier 1 action.. nullifying the reason you scared them in the first place. +1 slots
The power from Acro + all the slots.. Take Blaze. Please. Youll be much happier.

got told I sacrifice too much to try get hasten perma now in the new issue, so perma hasten is a waste, true or false?

Flares' recharge is better than fireball. Slot it right, you get good dmg, with the constant ability to attack so you keep the pressure on.
you need to increase your dmg bonus to as close to 40% not including assault as possible....but that's just me.
If you cant get 45 kb protection....then there's really no need to waste money on getting 17. yer gonna get kb'd regardless.
i'd slot up subdue for dmg.
WoC is great for a 5 slot purple.
Fireball is meh. I'd put the snipe back in. it's possible to perform moving snipes for a finisher.
Kinetic Crash>Force Feedback
Stamina is over slotted. Pshifter+end is nice.
Scare is pointless especially since you do DoT and takes nearly 3 secs to activate.
Other notes:
Hibernate is nice but Frozen armor though is garbage.
PFF is OK but you can move and get healed by your teammates if you need to be. TI can nearly cap you on resistance.

force? always used hoarfrost + hibernate, gonna be hard to let go of a nice heal, and a panic button
just on a note, I always solo, in zone and arena, as I play on Virtue, rarely many in pvp zone, so I prefer to solo, means i'll get no heals at all, not sure how i'd manage without a heal ?

How is subdual crap if it does more dmg then flares and doesnt stick you in that god awful animation flares puts you in, also since fire has no form of mezz....the subdue will actually stop them for a brief instant. subdues slow movement also allows for itself and another attack to land at the same time for burst.
so playing without a heal....hoarfrost isnt up fast enough and hiber is stalker food. frozen armor might as well not even turn on. with pff and ti,you wont need to heal as much since you'd have more resists....and pff is still a viable way to leave a fight unscathed...tho it's not as godly as it was before and is hit or miss depending on what you are fighting. never tried the regen route...but since you got dp getting 500% regen isnt hard. not sure how effective that would be in unison while in pff. can always bring greens.
okay bit confused now, say I went with Force as Epic - spending 2 points there, - then I got 4 power points, I've nowhere to spend, since dot breaks scare, and fireball aint usefull? :b take a peak - what would I spend thoese points on?

You definitely want acro. For the hold resistance and for anyone who doesnt have access to crazy KB.
Personally the rest I would get WoC just cuz purple confuse set is cheap.
Mind Probe to slot 4 makos for the bonuses, but leave this off your power tray.
PFF and TI....because well FoN doesnt do anything for you, thanks to freebee global resists and DR, and since you will have a miracle and numina you wont need the end recovery it gives and takes.
last one....up to you....swift just because, veng to slot with a bonus...

actually first time i've sat down and had "nowhere" to place points cause of no usefull powers
Subdual is crap because compared to flares it has almost twice the activation time, twice the end cost and twice the recharge. I would not leave mind probe off if your a ss/sj blaster. It's a decent melee attack that does - recharge and has a fast cast time. totally agree on WOC - it's a dmg/confuse aura so helps incase of AS.
grown tired of Sonics animations and rolled a fire instead, eye candy over quality :P
anyone wanna correct me on the points where i've gone wrong? this is the build i've come up with, wasen't sure where to spend 1 of the points, so threw it into Psy Shockwave.
