I know they've been looking at making Mids' compatible with Mono, but there's at least something being used by Mids' currently that doesn't work in Mono under Fedora 9 (I tested! )

Mids stopped work on his planner, so don't expect any more updates to it.

So then... we have no active planners out there?

Mids planner is being 'officially' updated by Steiner of the Titan network.

(QR) Mids Hero Designer is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework - it isn't a stand-alone programme, it needs the .NET Framework's base infrastructure to function.
Obviously the .NET Framework is only intended to run on Windows operating systems.
Therefore it's unlikely that we'll ever see a Mac-native version of Mids Hero Designer. I imagine it'd be possible to recode Mids, but you might as well make a new planner from scratch. It'd probably be easier.

You forgot the whole 'Mono' thing

Point. =D
I stand corrected. I didn't know what Mono was, and didn't look the name up when it was mentioned earlier.

I've tried to get Mids to work on Ubuntu and Mono with absolutely no success. I've heard cases where it has worked with other distribution, but alas, I couldn't figure it out.

And, with the exception of ParagonWiki, like everything else that's TN, we've seen nothing happen for Mids. It's been 7 months and almost 2 Issues since there was a new version.

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:
7 Months I agree, but only 1 issue. I15 is not yet live, and as late in the day as it was (Mids officaily stepped down late in May), it makes sense for Steiner to roll I15 and I14 together.
Steiner posted a couple of weeks ago:

I'm having some fun with it... and putting it through very thorough number tests to make sure damn-near everything (numbers) matches up in-game as well as in-application
However, the PvP IOs might require me to do something that would come off as a band-aid versus a permanent fix. I'm hoping to get it out before i15, but there is a good chance that it will have to wait until a few days after i15's release... since it's so close now, just makes sense.

Whoops! Put the almost in the wrong place... was supposed to be 7 months, and almost 2 issues... *fixes*
And good to see that he IS, in fact, working on it. In cases like this, I enjoy being proven wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]City Info Terminal is TN, and it's getting active development time on it. SaintNicster is the lead dev on it, and I see updates regularly (it's already got I15's badges in, and the AH tweaks have been tweaked). He's also lead dev on Glycerine, which had its latest version put out merely last week.
CoHFaces gets regular attention, it just hasn't been updated much due to so much on our admins' plates right now (what with completely switching over to a new site host, and our lead admin learning the code for Mids from the ground up). TonyV did some back-end tweaking and added youtube linking recently.
Mids is getting redone from the ground up (basically), you just can't see anything because Steiner is still learning its guts for updating. He hopes it's done for I15, but it may be delayed.
ParagonWiki is updated thousands of times a week, if not *a day*.
CoH Planner is currently really far on the backburner, but not completely abandoned. Red Tomax gets updated occasionally, but honestly, the admins' attention is elsewhere right now, and for good reason (Red Tomax data doesn't change very often).
So that's four out of six of the Titan Network sections that see regular attention. Five of seven if you count CIT and Glyc separately.
So...lemme ask this...since when is TN a death-knell for fan sites? (I remember someone (you?) inferring such a thing before.)

I am incredibly grateful for the work done by TN. Thank you very much. I use some part of it daily.

My search-fu is so horrible, when I tried looking for pre-existing topics about this, I ended up in the AT sections asking about Fire/Psi Dom builds and Tank questions.
Has Mids been made Mac compatible yet? I already know the viable solution of downloading the program that escapes my mind right now that can simulate Windows, but I don't like using those and don't have a spare copy of Windows I can install.
